Whats going wrong with these plants

35 posts in this topic

I really can't see what's wrong with the lawn.

It definitely looked underwatered, just get used to the weight of the pots when they're wet. If you pick it up and it weighs very little that's gone too far dry. For years I always kept it in my head that being overdry is better than being overwet but I've really mullered plants going too dry. I play it safe now lol

are they on the slabs all day too?

maybe they get very warm and evaporate the water from the pots pretty quick in the direct sun we’ve been getting

I get around this with my tomatoes by have stones under the pot in washing up bowls or trays and have water in them..

e2+ pot not submerged, on top

yes they are. I did have trays on them but when it started to rain I took the trays away as to not let them stand in water, and any extra water is free to run out. the slabs are pitted.

No there has been no rain recently apart from last week plus what ever over weekend. so no water for a couple of days and they perked up. I think Saturday we last had rain in this area.
