Use Intake filter Yes or No?

Does anyone use an intake filter in there set up? Personally would like to know for a 4ft x 4ft Tent.

If so would you recommend it as essential for every set up?

What like a dust filter? Don't see why not. Stops your cat and dog hair covering your buds!

Not essential no but I did, just made a wooden box out of MDF, cut a 6" hole and screwed a pre formed flange on to connect the ducting then bought a large sheet of pond filter matting that goes on one of the sides for a filter. works a treat

I use a square piece of white cooker hood filter to wrap over the end of my 4" intake fan ducting with an elastic band, I cut a fresh piece at the beginning of a new grow and throw the old one away...... I prefer to use the white cooker hood filter over the black as you can actually see how dirty it's getting, and remember to change it.
