large.5ead5fe299c8d_IMG_20200502_112613s.jpg

and 1 x auto bubble gum  at about 9-10 days from popping through the soil

large.5ead5fdfafde1_IMG_20200502_112604s.jpg

the tent im growing in is on the small side at  90cm x 60cm x90 cm  so will be using LST to keep the canopy down

but i have managed to get a 4inch fan and filter set up in there its

large.5ead5fec0bd3f_IMG_20200502_112629s.jpg

there currently under a 200w 6400k lumi cool white cfl bulb

i will be adding another 200 watt 2100k cfl once they start to show first signs of flower .

gonna try and set off another couple of seeds around week 5 so that i can try and get a monthly crop cycle on the go keep these under the cool white bulb and move the older plants under the 2100k for flowering

im using

- plant magic soil only feeding wate atm  will use a light feed of bloom once first signs of flower start to show

current temps are 26.1 in the afternoons and dropping to 23 -24 lights of f  humidity is usually around 42 to54 %

Sounds like your on the right track man. Here is a link on how to upload pics the main thing is you need to make sure they are under 1mb.

Never grown with cfls my self prob is your best bet with your short head room. Could you maybe have the fan outside the tent save you some space? Best of luck

Just saw the pics look like happy girls where are you extracting to?

iv just figured out the photo issues lol

iv had a few friends grow with them and the smoke theyve shared with me  has always been lovely,

managed to have the fan hanging in the tents space and its pretty quiet  i was more concerned about vibration through floor to flat below

My brother did a grow with cfls once was nice smoke just yield wasn't as much as with hps but in your situation it's prob the best option as you can have light very close to the plants. Are you just extracting into the room what about intake? If you use bungee cord to hang your fan might help with vibrations or you can try and make one of these

Iv got the fan hung up with a rope ratchet seems to be doing the trick. its plugged into a G. A. S  fan speed controler with the thermo set to kick in at 28 degrees turned on to 20 percent

Iv got the passive vent open a little bit and have the exhaust vent that runs behind the sofa and as close to the window as possible, we've got thewindows open at the back and front of the flat most of the time there's usually pretty good airflow through the flat and the rooms big enough (ceilings about 3.8m tall) that we shouldn't have any issues with condensation or mildew where we're venting to

Sounds good I'd say you might have trouble with headroom unless you get the fan and filter outside the tent or flip it on its side if you know what I mean they will take a stretch once they start flowering.

Good morning growers

had a look at the plants this morning and decided that now was as good a time as any to start lst, figured im not gonna have a massive amount of time to train them if i want to keep theses as low as possible

heres the DD auto

large.5eae6e0981793_IMG_20200503_064744s2.jpg

and here's the bubblegum auto

large.5eae6dfd4f404_IMG_20200503_064740s2.jpg

to aid in keeping em as low as possible i will be making  a scrog net  to put in at about 60cm  so i can train the canopy later on

will give each plant 250 ml of water at about 6 pm today when the lights come back on

had a little rearrange of the growing area put the 2nd cfl in there ready to be switched on for when the plants get bigger and start to flower

large.5eae963c2295b_IMG_20200503_102528s3.jpg

doing a test run with both the lights running for an hour so far  and its running at 26.5 C and humidiity is at   42%

fans now on constantly at  lowest speed, can hear the hum when in the living room but no louder than a noisy  aquarium filter . with telly on ya dont notice it

made the scrog net today for slipping under the 2700k area of the tent

using rubber twine and gardening wire from wilkos for around £3.50

took up some spare time

will post a pic of it in the tent a bit later on

so got the net into the tent and had one final play around with the reflector and think im gonna leave setup like this for the duration now only lifting 2700k cfl back to its normal position as the plants get taller

tempreture  headed into 28 teritory triggering the fans to come full to get the temps down so opened up the passive vent on the tent so that its now an inch  wide and temps seem to be stable

hopefully humidity builds back up to mid 40s

large.5eb04cec8ddd0_IMG_20200504_170900s5.jpg

Heres the dark devil around 15/16 days starting to be quite bushy so may not have to traiin to much

Hi mate, really nice pics and I wish you all the best with the grow.  I'm aiming for a similar set-up to yours, small grow area but with a bit more vertical space.  Probably do lst too.  Keep us updated!

Your speed controller - was it easy to connect the fan to it and does it help with noise?  What fan are you running?

Hi mate thanks for reading

Yes really easy the fan plugs straight into it and you use the dials to set the temp that you don't want to exceed and the speed you run it at normally then just run the thermostat into ur grow room

There's about 1-2 degrees difference between when you set it to come on and what the hygrometer is reading, takes a bit of fine tuning

The fans noisy on full but I have it on 20/30% I do get a hum that comes from the fan but not the controller, with the telly on its not really a bother and that's sitting next to it,

I'm running a 4" kaizer I line fan and 300mm kaizer carbon filter, plants are starting to smell and once your out the tent no smell so seem to be working fine

Wanted to get the rvk but couldn't get hold of one quick enough given everything's taking so long to get dispatched so went with this instead

Here's the auto BG last night

large.5eb2f950a0303_IMG_20200505_195932s6.jpg

Any one know what this could be a sign off pest/deficiency/paranoia?

Gave them a 100ml each of a super light feed. 0.5ml per litre put into 500ml bottle

just to test the waters used plant magic soil bloom got the hw mix

large.5eb2fa60bbe44_IMG_20200506_1418237s.jpg

Came back after work and waited for the light to come on when I opened up the tent I saw that both plants had pulled out the wire I was training them,

Heres the DD

large.5eb2f96ce9575_IMG_20200506_164637s7.jpg

And the BG

large.5eb2f9708bc3f_IMG_20200506_164646s7.jpg

The dd I thinks gonna be the more sensitive one but the BG is definetly jumpin on that feed so gavve her the rest of the water left from yesterday 300ml

Family photo cos this is becoming a habit lol
