Trichomes and flush timing

Hey Guys and Gals ,

 

First time grower and afternoon a bit of advice. 
Growing SensiSeed White Label, White Diesel Haze, I’m getting close(ish) to harvest and I’ve read trichomes is the best way to time your harvest for max strength and yield.

 

Now I get the thinking behind it, just wanted to know what stage you wait for before you start flushing. Im growing in coco, so I’m thinking a 10 day flush, a lot can change in 10 days. So I’m wondering at what stage trichomes colours do you begin the flush to time it right, not too many ambers, nice and milky. 
 

here’s a few pics of my trichomes , these pics are from the actual bud , not the sugar leaves as I’ve heard the leaf trichomes mature earlier than the bud.

 

 Just want you opinions and thoughts on timing the flush

as soon as you see a few amber trichs then start your water only/ flush, then it should be ripe wen chopped. if you prefer a sativa/ up high, then harvest with mostly milky heads, or the oposite for a more couchlock indica high. thats my 2p onit anyhow, tho im stoned to the max.  all the best with it

thanks mate, as tempting as couchlock sounds right now I think a more uplifting high would be more productive for my day  

 

So if I just wait until they’re all milkly , 10 days later with the flush I should have a nice mix , amber and milky? 
 

When you look at the photos what are you seeing? I’m seeing maybe a 70/30 clear/milky ratio at the moment.

 

do you check daily or have a got another week or so, best guess will do

yes there mostly milky, but there's some clear still. also most times i can just tell from looking at them nowadays, once the hairs on the buds are about 60% brown and calxes are swelling like popcorn, there normally just turning amber. some sativa, and sativa hybrids dont turn amber, they just get really milky, so dont always go by the trichs, go by how they look too. all the best with the grow. s1

Thanks for the second opinion. 
first grow and really want to do everything right. Last thing I want to do after all the effort and research is pull it down early.

 

so would you say another week of feeding then a week of flush?  Coco I’ve heard doesn’t take too long to flush
