+1 for the 5l Bormioli Fido jars... game changer :yep: 

 

Really nice seal and closure, prefer them to the Kilners. Wouldn't say the glass is any thicker.  

Managed to fit exactly 7oz in one jar (won't leave it this full for curing, was just curious as to how much fits in)

kilner jars for me, hidden in a false wall.

a sheet of plasterboard screws on over this. Looks just like the rest of the wall.

Apart from being a beautiful sight, I love that idea. Been thinking about something like that but was more thinking a safe built into the wall. Would need a big safe and its not easy to hide the safe cover either. A false wall is way more discreet. Did you build into the wall yourself or was there already an alcove in there?

I had a 4 foot doorway between my garage and an outbuilding. I just made the doorway a normal 30 inch doorway by building a little wall on the edge of it. This wall was perfect for hiding killer jars in. I screw a piece of plasterboard on it and it looks just like the rest of my wall.
