H&G Drip Clean on established plants?

Merry xmas all,

Just getting ready to setup my new dripper system and want to use drip clean to keep the pipes etc clear. I'm sure I've read somewhere that you shouldn't use it on a used system due to it loosening built up salts which can cause blockages etc. What I'm wondering is how this would affect built up salts within the root system and medium?

The plants are in eco thrive lite coco mix, approx 3-4 weeks in veg and have been in their final pots (5L fabric) for a couple of weeks.

Is it okay to start using Drip Clean at this stage, or could it mess with built up salts and cause issues?

Thanks in advance!

BDr
