Crap packaging needs addressing

30 posts in this topic

Hi grozone

Just a wee note as I’m not too happy.  I think you need to put one bag of compost in a box not two.  The four bags I’ve just received are in two thin cardboard boxes ( too heavy for that packaging) One has obviously been thrown about as its split and compost all over.  Please wrap the compost in black cellophane, Get better boxes or put one in a box only. You know as well as I do, you cannot trust any delivery company to treat parcels with kid gloves. Not good enough.  GRRRRRRRR.  I await your response, Thanks

A little bit of spillage. Probably lost about 10% from one bag. Rest seem ok. But we’re on show through the split box and with the spillage it would draw attention. No excuses grozone.  Send me more compost. The boxes are awful. They definitely need wrapping in cellophane.

Single wall box??? Should be a double wall box, wrapped in (black) Pallet wrap. Not difficult.

I prefer buying mine from a local grow shop.  Straight to the car then in the back door discretely.  Nobody else involved in the process and you get the added luxury of choosing the perfect bag.

2 bags of pm from greens is £36 not including delivery  , mind you, their packaging was always top notch   lol

I pick up 3 bags of Clover 75ltr each for 13.50 and about £2 fuel. I would never get soil shipped, the transport costs more than 225ltrs of compost lol
