Thanks growinggold

I've been chopping and changing my mind for the last couple of weeks, but finally made up my mind on what I'd like this year.

All should, hopefully handle the outdoor weather fairly easily.

Afternoon all....

Could I start off my photos now, indoors, without lights or tents, just to get them up and running for outdoors come the start of May.

Or would I be better off holding off another few weeks till the end of April.

@Celtic voyager No probs mate. You can put them out during the day and on the window cill at night until the last week in April.

Then leave them out until they bloom.

You could start them now but ime, if you start photos off now and put them out first week of may then you prob gunna end up wit a fookin forest in your back garden! If that's not an issue for you then get stuck in! But if you in any way need to be subtle then it wouldn't hurt to wait a bit. Plenty of people on here plant out as late as mid July and still pull decent yields. Depends on your situation really but you could end up wit a garden full of these..large.reduced_Screenshot_20201021-140204_61006.jpglarge.reduced_Screenshot_20201021-140115_25266.jpglarge.reduced_Screenshot_20201001-112746_36237.jpgwhich mite be a bit full on for the neighbor's! (Sorry for posting guerilla pics in the garden thread)

Hi ocb

I definitely don't want to draw attention to myself, remote as all as I am here,

So I might hold off another few weeks.

By starting off photos, mid to late May, will they have enough time to finish they growing cycle

Oh hello! I too plan to utilise the big growlight in the sky for the first time this year. I've never lived anywhere I would feel comfortable about being rumbled or ripped but now I have only one neighbour to worry about (not actually a neighbour but a farmer who walks their dog around the perimeter. I have a spot in mind that is mostly hidden from delivery drivers but might need to do some strategic dead hedging or something to block the view. I don't really worry about smell as there's usually a ripe smell of cow shit in Summer.

I selected the strains and have a plan...@Seedstockers-Marksent over a package containing:

Thunder Bannana Auto

Rucu Cucu Auto

Candy Dawg Auto

I plan to grow one of them out in a huge open bottomed pot/barrel with living soil. Not sure which strain yet.

The others  maybe in coco? I have some Beanstalk One Pot to try, the others something else.. maybe Canna A/B but I also have another Osmacote style slow release fert I could try. Not very scientific but I want to see how low maintenance I could be in future years. There's a garden tap in the spot that I could easily hook up to an auto watering system. I suspect that's the way I will want to play it in future but perhaps living soil will be my way to that? I certainly like the idea of it.

I have a feeling I might simplify things though.

I'll start a diary over in the Seedstocker Outdoor section at some point soon.

I look forward to joining in this year! I was really inspired by this thread in previous years, especially the light dep work. Maybe I'll get around to that one year?

Afternoon all.

Thought I'd get a start on my garden adventures for this season today.

Soaked two seeds yesterday

Hindu kush,  photoperiod.

Sexxpot (kush), photoperiod.

Popped them into liter pots this afternoon with compost, covered with cling flim, and placed on a south facing windowsill.

Hopefully, if they take off, in the next two weeks they'll be transferred into the greenhouse, till their stronger, then outside for the remainder of the season.

Planning on doing the autos at the end of April, first week of May.

Just a quick update on my photos on the window sill,

Day 4, and nothing popped up yet.

Still hoping they'll break through
