he is using RO water, which is as soft as it gets, that's why I was saying he should add some cal mag..

I wouldn't go to 0.4 with it tho, 0.2 is plenty, then add 0.4 of grow nutes to give you 0.6 ec. then ph it to 5.6/5,8.

If im honest, I would pull it and start over, but its up to you.

Next feed I'll take it down to that. The Ionic nutes in deionized water naturally falls to that pH. I'm going to let it continue for a while longer. Thanks for your calm and non-judgemental posts.

The pH is too erratic in my tap water. I'm using bottled water for the moment. It's only 50-100ml a day until the unit comes.

This adds nothing to the conversation. You are talking out of your arse if you think a pH of nearly 8 is "pretty decent".

I've knocked it on the head. The 8th set of leaves looked like they were going to be perfect and much bigger than the previous 7, of  which, their side branches might not grow properly. I don't have much time or energy tied up in this one, so I've got some Critical Orange Punch in rooters to replace it. This next grow is going to be warmer by going straight under cmh in the tent - seeing as it's set up now - and not so long in the rooters before potting up. Cheers.
