Old School Blue Cheese?

Anyone grew or smoked a good bit of blue cheese recently?
With all the Cali hype in the UK its very hard to find a good bit of Cheese that flooded the streets 10 years ago,
At the time it would be so pungent/sickly/ that some of the blue cheese I had back then still to this day was some of the stinkiest stuff I have had

Would love to grow out some blue cheese as it was my favorite smoke at the time and it has been so long since I've smoked anything similar, some say Stardawg is the new cheese but the only similar effect I have notice was the sweaty feeling in your face under your eyes.

 does anyone have suggestions ?

There has been bits of cheese but what people call 'cheese' is usually some bland 'chinky' weed that isn't anything special.
I hate how people started calling a nothing special bit of bud 'cheese' because when I remember a good bit of cheese was the best stuff around.
When it was Blue Cheese going around,  that blew your head off! it was the stinkiest smoke at the time, the smell would linger for days if you smoked 1 spliff inside.
It was the type of stuff you couldn't smoke it inside or outside because it was so damn smelly the only negative with the blue cheese apart from the jailbait smell was sometimes the paranoia with it. 
Oh Id love some of that jailbait paranoia again though.

I am currently growing a Dinafem Blue Cheese currently. It's about 4 weeks in flower. Looks amazing. Sweet and sticky already. I'll post a picture in my diary later

its worth a bash cos I doubt you will get any old school cheese, in seed form these days.

What about the subbies smottie remix? ive not tried it, but believe its a decendent of the original blue ched

I never came up with the name "Chinky". 
This is relevant because before the Cheese flooded the streets in UK every dealer used to stock this stuff called "Chinky" which was just poorly grown weed, i suppose cut early.

It was 3.5-4g for £20 and bone dry, sometimes had a straw/hay taste and smell but would always do the trick...
Then Cheese came about and replaced all this stuff

and then cheese became so popular that when people mention they have cheese the majority of people would leave it for some other strain.

I Hope I can explain this alright as I never meant to offend or upset anybody by using my wording. I was simply rewriting my experiences first hand and I cant be the only one who has experienced this.

Being called a "wanker" by experienced growers who are self sufficient and probably haven't had to buy from a drug dealers in years.
Congratulations not everyone has got to this stage yet.

(My experiences have been dealing with drug dealers for 10+ years every day and finally I have decided to grow my own)

There is a Discobiscuit x Konasunset
or a Smottie x uk Cheese

Not sure why this should be public to everyone and you have to reply on my public post ruining my topic but you insist on replying here.

This had nothing to do with etnicity or maybe it does?
I dont have time to research why it got it's name but it probably has something to do with the commercial grows producing low quality bud.

I never thought more into this being a derogatory term as it is the common term for low quality smoke that is used by everyone who is involved

Maybe it it Scotland that uses this term and it seems derogatory elsewhere.

I am sorry you feel that I am a wanker for quoting derogatory terms, as I said I wasn't trying to be derogatory to anybody.
