Went up to check on her today, brown spot on one leaf, any idea what it could be?

Looks like a brown spot to me.

Won't need any nutes for a while yet,  especially if the soil is good. Wait till you see any signs of hunger before feeding (yellow lower leaves). Let her grow up and start branching out...you may be surprised what she can do with no input from you from now.

not a whole lot of protection, just a sprinkinling of sand/ cement and one ring of copper tape around the edge

warned by others that slug pellets may attract more slugs

any recommendations for protection?

I'd defo have a few slug pellets around her while that small. Not many... could count out about 10-15 pellets and sprinkle.

No slug pellets at the shops so had to make do with this makeshift defence!

Looks like the plant could be having issues with the recent heavy rainfall..

Advice Welcome!!!

3 weeks since the seed was planted in the bucket, the seedling looks strong and healthy.

Any advice on topping or other methods to make the plant more compact as it grows?

Other advice also welcome! Thanks guys!!

4 weeks in now, shes growing tall but is on the thinner side, with no strong branches or any signs of further veg.

Personally I blame the bad weather (lots of rain not enough sun). Anyone have a rough idea of when she might be finished?

Most recent picture was from about a week ago.
