Weather forecasters are having a laugh this week. Struggling to get the current weather right, never mind a forecast ..

Isn't that every week? lol. Maybe it's just my local area but I swear they just make it up on the spot these days.

True. .

Even the presenters look in disbelief at the words that come out their own mouths .

Sunny, no cloudy . No rain unless it rains ..

Just say you don't know .

We've had hours and hours of torrential rain with baking sun intervals. The poly tunel is very warm and wet!

Aye, a few chilly nights on the cards for the next fortnight.

Was planning on taking my seedlings to the polytunnel this week, but might play it by ear. They're safe enough by the window for now...

UK weather is notoriously hard to predict due to our geographical location and because we are an island. But forecast accuracy has been improving in recent years.

Unfortunately our weather is becoming less stable due to climate change, which is only going to get worse. So presumably forecasting it will become even more difficult.  :schmoll:  Sal

Sub-zero nights coming next week. I'll be putting my seedlings in the polytunnel after that, to be on the safe side...
