The weather

1,840 posts in this topic

I’ve got quite a few weeks away from finishing same as you boys. Forecast has improved ever so slightly over the next couple weeks compared to what it was saying at the start of the week but it’s not looking great. No rot yet but a lot of wet weather to come :yinyang:

I literally got in from my bike ride about 5 seconds before the hail stones started coming down lol

The last mile i walked with my bike so i could smoke my daily blunt and see the lightning, when i got the blunt out and was lighting it i was on the path with my headphones in blowtorching away, then i look round and there was these two couples with their babies about 4 meters away coming towards me, was awkward af i just pulled my bike out of the way onto the grass :spliff:

@Military Grade

That shit always happens to me on the dog walk I spark up a blunt on a well used bike track/ walker/woodland I frequent on the off season.

I get the paras end up looking at the floor to para to make eye contact as my eyes are like red laser beams.

:pimp:

headphones in

I only keep one headphone in nowadays cos a few years back, I had both in leaving a plot and I came to my bike which was hidden down a little bank covered in gorse and as I pushed my bike through the gorse onto the path, I came face to face with a bloke and his dogs.

He looked so confused as I was head to toe in camo as I burst out of the gorse.

I just calmly said “Alright “ and walked off pushing my bike whilst he stood there confused to fuck

Plot was fine there after, luckily, but it’s made me only use one headphone with volume low to listen out with the other ear

Not nice we had strong winds and rain overnight and its still proper shitty out there.

I got one plant still out a fast zkittles but been picking mould out all week and she needs 2 more weeks.

Might just pull her salvage what i can and call this season done.

Got a couple more drop offs to plot and i am ready to start work on the bed for next season.

Trouble is the bloody clocks going back tonight don't help with plot runs after work too dodgy to try and get there in the dark.

Is it just me or are the temperature really mild for the time of year? Not so long ago it would be freezing cold near Halloween. Certainly not double figures after dark. I mean it's like late spring or summer temps just now - crazy!

Sure, it is common to get an 'Indian summer' around mid-October. But only for a week or so. Not the whole month! :D
