Lollypoping

Right. lets see how many different opinions I get On this!!

Ok So Is it ok to lollypop a little in veg? The thing that most bothers me is the way people say "Blocks the light"  "buds in the shade" . Plants dont see light like us and light passes through the leaves. Also the fact the the fan leaves do all the photosynthesis and removing these seems backwards?I fully understand letting the energy go towards bigger buds but still find it all a little odd?

I always do this now, it 100% does not effect the yield, makes it a hell of a lot easier to trim at the end, makes it loads easier to water without those stray branch’s, there’s probably other benifits. Letting light at the buds isn’t 1 that’s de-folaging or whatever it’s called, lollypopping is taking everything off the bottom 1/3rd of the plant so it’s energy gos to the main top buds, you don’t take any leaves off that aren’t in the bottom 1/3rd - or I don’t anyway maybe others do?

I weigh what I pull off mine and work it out g.p.w. there’s defiantly no difference on mine. And makes things so much easier like I say. Horses for courses mate.
