Looking good in there, except for that Remo. I had similar problems so it took a holiday and won't be back lol. Hope she pulls round for you.

@tokenrollYeah it is a weird freaky looking plant, I think it must be genetics as everything else in there is looking bang on.

Now I have topped it the lower branches are starting to come up and the leaves on those look normal at the moment. I have 9 plants so it won’t be a problem if it doesn’t make it.

I have been busy this morning potting up my plants into their 6 litre finals. I used Plant Magic compost with a bit of Mycorrmax sprinkled on top of the compost before I put the rootball in. They are back in the tent now, I have just gave them a half water as I want the roots to start to spread out looking for more water, next time I water them will be the start of a full wet and dry cycle. All I have to do now is wait until the fill the tent nicely and then put them in flower. They are still looking nice and green and they have only been fed water so far.

The first to get potted up were the 4 Ocean Grown Cookies, I am very happy will all 4 of these, they are all slightly different so hopefully I will have a full range of phenotypes in the mix.

I took some photos of some the root balls before I potted them up so the next set of photos are a bit saucy.

The Purps#1 are the my favourite plants in the tent so far, both are nice strong looking plants are both look slightly different, it would be nice if I got a tall and a short pheno again. This is my favourite strain in the vapes at the moment, sweet, fruity and melty, awesome.

@AKPOGThanks for the kind words dude. I haven't done anything special really, they have just been getting plain water so far.

This Gorilla is my 3rd favourite in the tent after the 2 Purps, its got a nice structure and is growing vigorously, a lovely little plant.

The Bubba Kush is nice too, very fat indica leaves and it is pretty smelly already.

The Remo Chemo started off like a mutant and you can see the big fan leaves are clawed and freaky looking, there is new growth coming up after the topping and it looks ok, I will persevere with her for now and see how she responds to potting up.

I am very happy with these plants so far and I am confidant I can do them the justice they deserve.

I plan on veging them up for 2 to 3 weeks in these 6 litre pots before I put them into flower. I will keep giving them plain water until I see some roots at the holes in the bottom of the pots and then I will introduce some fishmix and Bio silicon in small amounts to begin with.

I am only using Fishmix, Biobizz Bloom, Bio Bizz Algamic and PM Bio Silicon for my feeds and I try not to feed them too much, especially Bloom when they are flowering, in my experience too much Phosphorus can cause a lot of problems in mid to late flower.

I hope you guys have a quality Sunday afternoon, I have been on the edibles and hitting the Evo again and I am off my little pickle, happy days.

I will leave you with a shot of my Dinafem gang, excuse the dirty Bubba Pot, I scrubbed the inside of the pots but forgot to do the outsides, another job for later.

I forgot to post a couple of shots I took as I was plotting them up so here they are now.

Here is a nice little tip I picked on uk420, always put the rootball in diagonally in square pots, it gives the roots way more sideways legroom to spread outwards.

A Small Dusting of Mycorrmax

Genius mate, I'm stealing that idea from you! :bong:

Sadly, being an OCD engineer I've always had the spirit level & laser alignment when re-potting up. :chains::rofl:

@AKPOGNo worries dude, I stole it off some one on here a while back, some tips you pick up along the way are priceless and this is one of the best ones I have seen on here so it would be rude not share it.

It makes a noticable difference and I have found that since doing this the plants put on a nice fast spurt of vigorous of growth straight after potting up as the roots stretch outwards into the big volume of compost you have given them down the sides of the rootball.

An added bonus is its much easier to back fill the pot with the compost as well.

@Smokebelch, I am curious, do you always only pot up to 6ltr pots?

I get around 0.7 to 0.9gpW under an HPS600, so im happy with my results, but I've always aimed for 11ltr for my main runners & 7ltr if I have more than 4, but that's only because I thought bigger pots meant bigger yield in a kind of crude way, but you seem to always produce high quality goods at a decent yield, so I'm wondering if I'm wasting soil really in your opinion?

I'll be watching this diary closely for more than just strain interest :bong:

Of with there heads and a potting up also  :yep:

Best to get both done around the same time. Should have minimised any potential stress :bong:

Definitely some pheno variance going on with the OGC, should provide some nice variety come harvest time  ;)

Thanks for the lengthy update brother. I know this must take some time :bong:

Keep them coming  :yep:

All the best

@Dinafem-Mark No worries dude, some weeks will have a lot of updates and some less depending on work shifts.

@AKPOGI think it’s down to plant numbers dude, I like to run 8 or 9 plants at a time so for me to get 1gpw I only need to average 2.3oz per plant for 9 or 2.6oz for 8 plants, with abit of experience, some good genetics and a nice environment for those genetics that’s quite easy to achieve.

That said I do push the limits with 6 litre pots with long veging for 3 to 4 weeks in them before I flower and quite often a few plants end up a bit rootbound and I have to water them everyday or two days when in flower.

If was doing 6 plants or less in my tent I would be using 11 litre pots which is exactly what I did the grow before last.
