Clover is the best I've used so far, for weed and other plants, chillies etc too.

I've never tried any canna specific though..

Defo 2nd the Levingtons with added john innes,struggling to find it in my area now for some reason. Even B&Q stopped doing it now,always had good results with it.

wyvales garden centres still stock those handy 20litr bags ..so its not suspicious  when you pick up cal mg seaweed with it

I've not grown in a couple of years, and composts can vary tremendously from season to season so can't reliably recommend a particular brand, but it's always a good idea to buy compost that's been stored indoors as it less likely to be infested by gnats etc

True. Seems to be going ok for me so far. Goes so muddy when watering but plants seem to love it. Really nice roots
