Help Please I Dont No Whats Up With The Leaves !!

im growing 6x ww x bb from seed and 4x candy kush from cuttings/clones

using dutch pro light mix

600w led for veg 1200w led for flower

ph perfect nutrients 3 part  by advanced nutrients

seeds are 10 days old

cuttings 1 week from rooting

ive not started feeding the plants yet as when i bought the soil he said there would be enough in there to last a little while before starting to feed

can some one please tell me why the leaves are going like the pictures ive added, i thought  this was because ive no fed them nothing yet, but  the cuttings are alot bigger than the seedlings, but then noticed the seedlings doing the exact same as the cuttings. bit wired i thought and i cant find nothing like these on any forum, i want to get them right before its to late if any one can help me that would be great !

Hard to tell under the hue of your leds but  by the dark green shiny and leathery appearance I’d say it was over fed also note the scorched tips . Looks like your compost might be a little too hot for young plants. How far away is your led ? Looks like that might need backing away a bit too.

Im not the most qualified to help you as I grow in coco under hps lights so I’d wait for a couple more opinions.

All the best

I would say your bang on oddnut. You could try and wash some of the feed out that soil but I would probably just leave it as in a min there need that feed. Atb

@OddNut Hey Man So I have light around 2-3 foot away from plants, also ive not fed them anything yet so wondering if it is the nutes already in the soil, i should of just done coco like the last grow, i was gonna try and gove them a feed as thought it could be lack of nutes, ill leave them for few days and see what happens.

thanks alot for the replies though

Defo don't feed them the shineyness tells you its got to much feed and the fact the tips burnt. You need to get that light closer then 3 ft chap I run 2200w hps 1.5ft off the plants.

Your right defo change to coco and Cana a+b you can't go wrong 40ml every 10l be healthy as fuck.

I think that’s the best plan for the time being. I know leds don’t run mega hot like my hps bulbs but the reason I questioned your light height is because the plants I’m growing this time round have got mega tall, taller then me even and Ive noticed a few of the tops looking overfed and dark green where as the lower branches look fine. In my case it’s definately not overfeeding as there only on an ec of 1 as it is.

Im sure they will be fine and like @1lastchance has said they will probably need that feed before long.

Ive pulled plants round that looked a damn sight worse than these and went on to produce some amazing plants

all the best, keep a close eye on them

@smoker90toker

Hi mate, I normally don't chime in on stuff like this unless I have had the same issue. When I started the same thing happened to me with the soil being to hot. What is slighty confusing is that you are using a light-mix so it shouldnt that hot for seedlings. That being said it totally looks like nute burn as the  more experienced guys have said.

The only thing I can add is that I  tried to flush my plants when this happened. Naturally more nutrients were released from the soil and most of my plants died. That's the tough decison I think you have.

Moving forward I changed my soil from biobizz almix to biobizz lightmix and every seed has been fine since then. I guess some seeds are just more resilient or I had a bad bag of all mix but its not something I risk anymore. Its worth noting that other people have no problems with all mix and seedlings.

Good luck pal as getting this part is thr hardest of then grow.

Oh and have a nice christmas.

thanks for all the advice guys deffo back to coco after this grow as never had troubles just wanted a change to see difference, fingers crossed they will sort there selves out ! im not gonna bother flushing just incase they die as stated how long do people say before feeding ? untill the plants start to look normal again , i hope this does not effect the grow or stunt them

merry Christmas everyone

Yeah just go off the plants as when to feed, your see the shineyness go first then there become less dark at that point give a feed. As there so small atm you could still change to coco you get a much better yield.

Are you sure it's a light-mix you're using? Check the back of the bag for an EC measurement of the compo. I would expect a light-mix to have an EC of 0.8-1. and have enough feed in it for a week,maybe 2 at most. A heavier fertilised compo would probably have an EC around 1.4ish.
