Ah, got you now...........If yours is only a couple of cm then I'll gain about 10cm by losing the reflector.

 

I hope that's enough height for leds? If so what would you recommend to cover that area?

Let me do some numbers and get back to you with a price, you deffo wont need anywhere near 3.

 

Whats the max size i can build it. Would 40cm x 58cm be ok?

I think that will be a bit too tight, rigid sides so no room for error, maybe a few cm off all round - 35 x 50 'ish?

@stu914 58cm is the minimum length I can do it. Any width is fine.

Something landed today and no it wasn't aliens but hey stranger things happen on uk420.

@diyleduk lights arrived this afternoon safe and sound as you can see, will post more photos tomorrow along with some plants under them.

I bought the 265w v2 board from diyled a couple of weeks ago, and I was shocked at how much light it throws out. I think they're great lights, and my plants seem very happy :)
