i just  get some paper towel, dampen it in water ,  gently squeeze excess water out  then wrap the seeds gently inside the folded  damp paper towel.... pop it in a ziploc  bag and leave it in a dark warm place  .. " the airing cupboard" .... about 2 days later they will have a taproot................. put it in  your chosen compost about  2cm deep and wait  " usually  2 or 3 days  tho it can sometimes take  longer ....

soak the soil before you put the seed into it, or it could get washed down too deep.

24-28 degrees for a plant, once its up and out the ground

they wont need fed for at least a week.

Or just pop, them into your compost and wait. Much safer and less risk of damaging the seedling. Faffing around with paper towels is pointless.

I just plonk mine into rooting blocks and put them into a propagator in the veg tent. No need for paper towels etc.

There are many different ways.

I soak my seeds for 24h the chuck them into root riots; as long as they’re warm enough and damp but not wet any method will work.

I like the root riots because you will see roots appearing so you know they’re up and running versus straight into muck where you won’t.

Personal preference and all that.

@Afghankush13 i would say you can ask the question a million times and people have many ways but if you are new to growing there are some great ebooks on the subject ,if you ask Dinafem Mark he pointed me right on many a book for a read , you really need to read up before you start to grow because if you fail you will not just lose the seed but you will start to think is it worth it can i do it .

Ok well good luck in the growing and if you new just read the many threads on the forums on new to growing you will get a huge amount on info from this site .

Stay safe grow well

@Dinafem-Mark hope it was ok to point a newbie your way

Right I’ve cracked some seeds and I’m a bit unsure of where to go next as some people have said to put them in a warm dry place and let them carry on!! Can I put them in some small pots in to coco soil and put them under a 600w hps lights I know it seems overkill but I just need to keep the soil and plants warm don’t I?? I must mention this is in my attic grow room which is 3m wide x 1.2m deep x 2m high (pitch roof). Thanks for the advice guys I know I sound like an absolute amateur but we gotta start from somewhere
