honey i fucked the soup

was making soup spannered, yellow splits with ham. neither the onions or the yellow splits are breaking up, i turned it off hours ago and crashed, just woke up and put it in the fridge, can i whack it back on the hob and continue this fiasco like brexit?

can't see why not some eateries have broths that have been simmering for years..
