EC Decreasing - Is this normal ?

Hi guys currently on day 26 of my first grow, and due to do a res change today in a 50L wilma reservoir (4 plants)

Ive been keeping an eye on the EC over the past week and ive noticed its slowly dropping 1.16 - 1.15 - 1.13 - 1.12 over the past 4 days

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Is it the plants are using more of the feed, or they are using more of the water and i need to lower the EC content?

Any help is always appreciated... many thanks

Yes, it's just the plants using more of the nutes. :)  You could raise the EC a little but personally I'd just go for more regular res changes rather than push the EC too high. A slow drop is a good sign you're feeding well imho. :)

This is a handy bit of info i got from here a while ago

Water level drops, ec rises = to high ec to start with
Water level drops, ec drops = more feed needed
Water level drops, ec stays the same = sweet spot keep this ec

How often are you doing a complete change?......Most people go a week to ten days, by then some elements will be used up and need replacing
