He doesnt do enough drugs for me to value his opinions. I think the religion argument was solved in the 60's and has been dwindling since there is no need to continue this argument. Have some new ideas maybe instead of repeating arguments. I find it a bit petty.

I did love the Office, though I find watching him hard work outside of that. I enjoyed this though

Why do people feel the need to ridicule religion or faith?

Atheism is a belief system, though Mr Gervais suggests it is all pervasive, and states we are such from birth.

 I'm not, I'm a spiritual being.

My understanding of human nature and experience is not based solely on empirical facts.

He's just peddling his own personal ideology. Hypocrite.

I have never understood why people find this man amusing? I get more fucking giggles out of acute arthritis than I do listening to his monotonous gob! I doubt very much I would learn anything ore about religion from him.

As I thought, nowt new here. If anything, he's found even newer depths of boring mono-toned garbage with which to irritate the rest of us.

And I think religion is generally man made poo, too!

I often think people get confused by beliefs/religion and equate them to mass organised religion and the words of man that are religious books passed off as the word of god.

No it's a belief of nothing with no ritual, established protocol, heirachy or organised system in place. It is a belief though.

How about I don`t even think about a man in the sky unless someone mentions it?

I don`t believe in anything but facts

e2a, just to be straight, I was just referring to the word `belief` not how I may feel about things like the universe ect (saddam the apostrophasiser)  , didn`t want to sound stuck in my thoughts there is all. Phew!  lol
