Air pruning rockwool for NFT

Hello guys, I have had problems recently and had to throw away last 3 bunches clones, I think now the problem were poorly rooted cubes. So now I am trying Air pruning before I put then on NFT table. But I have question regarding dying off roots. Isnt that going to be issue later on? And how long you guy Air prune the cubes?

cant really have too many can you.

the longer you leave it the bigger root ball you will have in the block.

I not sure i get what you mean?

they wont die as long as you dont let em dry out obviously..

they do look little bit dry tho.

thats why its best to leave the sleave on.

keeps moisture in and focuses the roots downward :yep:
