Does Clonex go off? got a bottle that says use by 03/08

Its either that or a similarly old (or older) tub of Doff rooting powder which says "this product must not be used on edible crops"

will the clonex be OK?

For what its worth my first ever attempt rooted fine in root riots no clonex on the window sill 4 weeks ago only took 13 days.. Only helps speed things up using clonex I believe but 13 days isnt slow as far as I am lead to believe so probably best to leave it if it has a use by date

mine was outta date by 20 months, non rooted outta 20.

purchased new bottle of clonex -- tried again all 22/22 rooted.

so for me yes, the bottle had previously been opened and about 30% of the volume used.

since it's active/alive maybe a shelf life does indeed exist with certain brands perhaps?

fingers crossed for ya, without clonex i just can't keep em alive no matter how humid&warm the clones are kept

some probably can root em without any hormone, im not one of those

i done my last set of cuttings without any just put them straight into jiffy plugs and it worked hopefully it will work again next time
