Plants Stretched to height of tent!

Hi Guys

Sorry if I'm posting to many threads but help lol

My Big Buddah cheese plants have reached the top of my tent, we'll the lights so I've been reading all day and I've bent the tops of the plants in-between the nodes so their at 90 degrees. They are about two weeks into flower and wondering if it is going to affect the main top cola bud production? I'm not new to growing well I've grown for a few years but only just experimenting more with my lady's and first time my plants have stretched that heigh into my light as Last time I just bought a new bigger tent lmao

You really need to pinch those tallest stems, nice and hard.

Make sure you soften the stem before you go to bend it by pressing it with your fingers and then gently bend it over mate

When I super crop My plants I try to keep my bends around the same height and fill as much space as I can if you understand

Have a look in some of the diarys mate

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was bending my girls this morning and the one has snapped to the point it's nearly falling off! I've taped her up but don't think it's going to help. Feeling sad

^^^The tape should sort it out, I've snapped loads and a bit of tape has always done the trick, a splint helps as well.

A few times I have supercropped and been too heavy handed. When the stem snaps, there is a good chance of it healing, just try to make sure it hasn't got loads of weight being put on the point where it snapped. Worst case, it snaps and you pretty much just topped a plant. Not ideal in flower, but not the worst thing to happen.

If you're 2 weeks into flower and you have ran out of head room, what are you going to do for the next 6+ weeks? The majority of the stretch stops by 3 weeks into flowering, but they do grow vertically slightly after that.

i usually super crop my plants 3 weeks into flower without any problem, and yeah just tape it up and it should be fine they are pretty strong plants.

Sounds to me like the temp between day and night is too big and that has caused the massive stretch, I've grown a few big Buddha cheese and had the same problem, I go for about 66f night and about 80f day but you could try keeping the temps roughly the same for the rest of the grow, that should slow down anymore stretching

Well i went to check on the plants and the top of the plant and tape was actually on the bottom of my tent. Think temp is dropping to low at night due to a Window being open so going to close it i think.

There is still a little room for them to grow vertically but they will get burnt by the light
