What you've just done by asking could possibly taint your experience with acid. Because you'll be sure enough to read the comments posted here after. I think it's a drug you have to go into without any preconceptions. Whatever you do, wait til next summer. Don't be doing your first trip in the dark cold winter. Fuck that!

Some of the best trips I have experienced happened in a dark cold forest/witch dipping pond. At the time I loved the dark and fucked up trips just as much as the colourful happy ones.

I agree, the dark is much more interesting when tripping, it's coming into mushroom season now after all. Mushies are much better than acid, they don't have the comedown. Doesn't really matter when you do 'em just make sure you go to nature, they are another of the sacred plants and must be respected (I know technically they are not plants but whatever)

Ive always found it hard when people ask you what LSD like to explain it

in such a way as they could understand and they always ask about feckin

tracers like its the biggest part of tripping (which I never really got).

I always kind of enjoyed the feeling that things were outside my control but

at the same time I always knew eveything was ok and had some really good

times tripping. When I was growing up the trip of choice were strawberries

but I cant remember the names of some of the others we got apart from ones

called red dragons that were supposed to be extra strong but I cant really

remember.

Haha strawberries, purple om's, dancing robots, california sunrise, albert hoffman's and bart simpson's to name a few but none are as good as shrooms
