Aw man just had to bump this thread again.. Less than a month in and I love this vape.... I have had/tried almost all the top end vapes yet this still tops them. You can drain every last bit of goodness out of your herb, its so nice not to have ballons etc, the glass means the taste is 2nd to none...and the cleaning is soooo easy... every night I swap stems and put dirty one in dishwasher... every day I have a fresh clean stem and gause.

If you are trying to make up your mind...grab a solo you wont regret it!!

Han my Solo is nearly 6 months old and I'm still impressed I don't use it exclusively mainly day time but it's my best buy ever!

Stems in the dishwasher? Rather you than me!

Used to use milk to clean my stem, just tried a new way after 6mths build up - soak stem in 99.9% isopropyl for 5mins, remove and let evaporate. Then left with all the goodness from inside the stem, scrape up and consume how you want (I bonged mine). Mashed :)

Ok maybe on the stock stems I might put them in the dishwasher, but not the PVHES!

Isn't it a waste of good vape honey?

@@vapefiend Do you know when you'll be stocking the straight stock stems again, VF?

I snapped my bent stem glass when in the solo this weekend. It was the first time I used it, it was a bugger to get into the solo, a lot tighter than the straight stem which I have been caning since getting it.

Anyway.p, the bent stem was ok with the first smoke then disintegrated when I took it out. No bother.. It happens. No my straight stem is quite loose however... It rattles around in the unit. Have I mucked my unit up?

I might order a wood stem afterwards to have a more robust one as well as the glass if my unit is ok.

Nah, they loosen up with time/heat (or the factory O ring does)... you don't want it too tight anyway...

If it's too loose you could always add an O ring yourself (I have one and prefer it).

Here's a link for what I'm on about:
