1 charge it up until all orange lights are lit don't let the green light stop blinking if you can supposed to help batter also don't let it flat either

2 you can turn it on to 7 let it auto shut to burn off anything left over but I think they do this at the factory

3 the stems can be a pain when unit new do not force them despite what everyone claims if you can't get stem in I have an answer maybe I broke one as it would not fit if the straight one don't fit use angled for a week then straight should fit

Use while plugged in despite the claims it has a habit of hosing the electrics fault in the firmware maybe

Charge it to solid green for the first charge at least...

After that the above should give you more re-charge cycles at the expense of maybe one session/charge.

as above 1st charge to 100% light stops blinking from then on it is best to stop at 7 before the light stops blinking as it will keep the battery working longer

Cheers for the pointers folks! I got charged up and proceeded to get baked on some flowers (whole bud and ground), some QWISO I made from cleaning my grinder in organic cotton and some pressed kif hash!

It'll take me a while to get used to sucking on a stem vs a bag but I am loving it so far

I have resisted the urge to wake and bake so far....

Sure you won't be disappointed. That paired with my Solo is my fave method of using it.

Im still very very disappointed with my combo of solo ariser with the D020 bong i tried all the suggestions on here but its just to stiff/hard to pull.

I even tried it with covering the slits only half way up with water in the bong, although its a little bit easier its still to straining on the throat. Above all i never get the whole bong filling with white vapour like someones pic on here earlier!!

I just don't understand whats wrong, its like your pulling on a milkshake with the other end being completely blocked off

Could it be my glass stem? Im sure theres nothing wrong with my solo as it works perfectly when just using the stock glass stems on there own, no restraint whatsoever on pulling.

Its a real shame because the hit i get from the water bong with the solo works wonders even if its only a little, its just a pain in the @ss to pull from and a real turn off to not use it at all.

I got my faulty 2013 Solo replaced with the 2014 model and that doesn't work very well with my bong either. However, I tried my Volcano with it an wow! it works amazingly well!!

Would imagine that any powered vape would work just as well too

hmm, so it could be the 2014 solos? cause thats the only one i have too. Its weird though as i thought they were meant to have much better air flow, hence should work better with the bong?!

Yep that makes it easier to pull, however i still never get the bong full of white clouds of vape. I guess some of it leaks because I'm lifting it slightly.

Some times its the weed some weed just don't vape well

I don't get it if its working direct draw then the bong should work just as well no?

I don't get any satisfaction from using the Solo with a bong even though it works great on its own.

No sorry, what I mean is that I've had both the 2013 and the 2014 Solo's and neither worked well with my bong......both worked fine on their own tho.
