Mothers Day breakfast for the good lady. Just scraped out the inside of the mushroom, brushed with oil, cracked egg in, season with pepper and Parmesan cheese and grilled.

As it’s Sunday and I’ve had a grindy week, I thought I’d treat myself this morning, roast leg of goatling with 3 free range eggs:

The eggs were from our chickens and the goat leg was from a little 15 day old goat who was crushed by a barn door on Wednesday, poor thing. If I were to see a positive he was one of 3, so his brother & sister are doing better for it as there’s not 3 of them fighting over the mothers 2 teats, and it was delicious.

@PureSmkr - Nice one mate...i do love how you have become self sufficient with your own reared meat/poultry...its how it always was and how it should be none of this pre packed shite we eat today :yinyang:

 

This morning breakfast was a good old banana :yep:
