Well Far Cry 5 was a waste of money

Looks nice, but you can't see what's going on, it's buggy as fuck and the perk system is shit. Back to Bloodborne.

I really haven't got into Far Cry 5 at all :( It's as buggy as fuck, the perk system is stupid (I don't want to have to kill a certain number of people with shotguns just to earn the perk points, I don't use shotguns in this kind of game, it's not how I play, I'm a sniper kinda player, silent kills with bows, silenced sniper rifles and sneaking up and cutting throats are my deal, I don't wanna be forced to use weapons I don't like just to earn the perk points). And the trees and shit look nice, but they get in the fucking way of sniping :headpain: Sorry, not impressed with it.

lol Still on Bloodborne, starting the Nightmare of Mensis after 12 pints of cider and a few spliffs was a foolish plan lol

Got the the second lamp and not died yet, but fuck me it's proper sobered me up lol

Ah, the joy of finally finding the spider cunt in Bloodborne that got me teleported to the nightmare frontier and then pushed me off a cliff.

Despicable liar therefore time for execution lol

E2A And while fighting Micolash I couldn't help thinking about Boyle correcting Jake whenever he says Nikolaj in Brooklyn Nine Nine lol

@Boojum Bloodborne's brilliant ay although it can be brutal retrying some of the bosses repeatedly!  The Nightmare Frontier is nasty..  Sedatives dont help much against frenzy attacks from those brain head guys.

Coming back to the game after a couple years I started doing chalice dungeons and there good fun, great for farming echoes and amazing gems for weapons.  Although the lower depths and cursed dungeons are tough, had to level up and return to die 30 plus times on some bosses but you start getting 10,000 - 30,000 echoes for some enemies.  Just grinding for better gems now which are hard to find but some add 25% damage each.

Aye, I'm nearing the end game now so I'm mostly doing chalice dungeons for gems now that I've got the holy moonlight sword to +10 (and I've yet to finish the DLC, jumped in far too early and got repeatedly murdered trying to kill Laurence, the First Vicar - his final phase when he loses his legs is a proper twat lol ). Far as frenzy goes, took me a while to work out that frenzy resistance scales inversely to insight so doing the nightmare frontier and mensis is made a lot easier if you go in with 0 insight, the ashen hunter garb & the crow mask and 10 sedatives (the slimy student things in the lecture hall sometimes drop sedatives for if you run out).

@Boojum shit I never knew insight level controls frenzy damage!  No wonder frenzy wastes me I've always got around 70 insight.

Definitely worth finishing the DLC before completing the game, apparently the DLC is very tough on new game+ .  Nice one on the dungeons, are you going to try and kill the Pthumerian Queen?  Its a slog getting there but I enjoyed it, the Defiled Chalice (your HP is halved) has a nasty end boss 'Amygdala', its tough when you cant find co-operators.  Been great dropping in to help random folk in the dungeons, feel like I'm truly contributing to society in a meaningful way haha, helping relieve stress levels globally.

I went for the Holy moonlight sword build too, ploughed stats into Arcane but not seeing much extra now, only seem to get meaningful boosts from attack %, cursed or nourishing gems.  Seen lots of players rocking ludwigs blades, I think they scale better plus you can apply bolt/fire papers to em.  I love the moonlight swords thrust attacks though :)

I need to take the plunge soon and kill the Moon Presence ans start new game+, then get the Yharnam Sunrise trophy.
