Does anyone have any experience on the intensity of these and how many would be needed per square metre or such?

satchmo- youre making me sick with that link! £46 is a steal and they give you the connector-which is usually £10-15, have you ordered from them before??

i got mine here for £65 and i was pleased with that price

http://www.starlitesystems.co.uk/acatalog/...t_Lighting.html

they were boxed very well in a huge box and they threw in some magazines too. very good service,

i highly recommend the lights. they give off 12500 lumens so are comparable watt for watt with a 250 HPS.

they screw into my old reflector and i have them 3 inches above a single plant in a normal sized wardrobe with the door full closed and no venting, just a pc fan blowing over the plant. it is about 25C in the wardrobe. you can touch the light it is so cool. since they are so close they may be more efficient lumen wise than a 250W. ideal for a small one plant grow or keeping a mother on the go. i got some tesco citrus odour neutraliser too which is doing a brilliant job. it should do 2.5 sqft. i wanted to grow in the wardrobe before but it has shelves so height is a restriction. i am suppercropping and the light can be 3 inches above so my height is very small. you could shelve 2 or 3 in a normal wardrobe
