  1. Hi Gals/Guys/Trans/LBTQ I've got a 1mx1mx2m high tent. I have 5 White Widow, some of various crossings. The environment is in the tent above, and I've had a 4" swiftair extraction running 24/7 plus a Honeywell floor fan set at 2. I have a Rhino thermo controlled extractor, insulated ducting, and a black orchid intake fan, and all the fixings, to be fitted this evening. I'll get the filter set, and duct to extractor. My question is, should I open the window to vent from tent or into tent? Bear in mind I get a lot of helo activity, but they're pursuing suspects, not flying casually. But a rel got caught in an industrial grow! Apparently, it was the stench!... So, I've 5metres of insulated 6" ducting and a thermo controlled fan. Should I crack window open and vent (outwards) through there, or just vent into room, and leave door open for fresh airflow? And for intake, any ideas on whether just to open the window space thing at bottom of tent, or use a 4" intake fan, and should the fan be placed close to cracked open window? I've tried to search threads regarding this, but always come up with a blank, so my apologies to those who have already posted answers. If you could give me a link to ex fan set ups with filter inside, that would be great. And also, as I can leave grow room open with fresh air coming in through bathroom and toilet, should I use the full extractor ducting to blow into room, rather than out the window. I live in an area of society where overhead cop helo activity is frequent! I can't stress this enough. Any ideas would be most welcome. Plants have passed 4 weeks 12/12 and are developing very sticky buds. Photos later. Thanks 420. Peace out.
  2. Is there a simple way to hide seedlings on a windowsill (1st floor) without blocking out sunlight? What I want is some kind of screen that you can't see through but allows all the UV rays to come through - a bit like a pair of fake Rayban sunglasses. BTW, to anyone thinking about growing plants on a windowsill, don't assume no one could ever see them from the outside! I think it's a good idea to stand outside and look at your window from different angles just to make sure. And don't forget about the window cleaner or houses across the street that might overlook your home.
  3. hey guys, my pals got a 150cm x 300cm tent and 2 1000w gavita de lights, he has a 12" isomax out take and a 10" isomax intake both hooked up tp hybrid fan controller. He is currently pumping out the window but is a bit worried about how it would look on a thermal camera. the room he is in has a air brick that leads to a chimney he could pump his hot air out from but the chimney may or may not be connected to the neighbours but he obviously has no way to find out... so my questions are: Is it dodgey to pump your extract out the window? are semiditached houses share chimney? and if so will anything bad happen if he vents out through it? thanks for your help in advanced FC
  4. Here is how i extract out of my window like a ninja also can put ona blocks in the speaker to help with oudour. check it out. Front of normal speaker to start with. Back of speaker Remove the speaker so there is a hole and stretch tights over the hole so you cant see in to it. Cut a hole in the back for ducting Put it on your window sill and put the ducting in the back and your all good.
  5. Replacement Window Vent Painted

From the album UGORG#1 & Killerskunk

Painted with 2 coats of primer undercoat and 2 coats of black floor paint. Should last a few grows.
  6. Replacment Window Fitted

From the album UGORG#1 & Killerskunk

Nothing else to hand to pack out the board to match the face of the adjacent windows. 4 Lego blocks saved the day. Looks quite legit from outside.
  7. Replace Window For Extraction

From the album UGORG#1 & Killerskunk

Replacing a casement window with a marine ply board. Primed and glossed then an 80mm white gloss border marked out to copy adjacent window frames. Black floor paint in the centre and also inside the ducting for 0.5m to reduce telltale metallic reflection. Planning a stainless vent cover painted with black hammerite to complete a hopefully stealthy external.
