First of all thank you very much @Dinafem-Mark for supplying the White Cheese and Sour Diesel autos Either me or you made a mistake though because I meant white widow autos No worries though, the seeds were free and I'd have been happy if you sent me a pack of tomato seeds and a rusty spoon I also have some white widow auto seeds of my own so will be growing those with a few others pictured. Auto patch before extension Auto patch after extension The picture above is where they'll be going. The plot gets decent light, but soil is solid clay so I'll be lugging in compost and local topsoil/leaf mould I'll be collecting from the wood surrounding the plot. Topsoil/leaf mould My backpack is falling apart at the seems but still gets the job done.. I've had to cable tie the bottom where it split carrying bags of soil last year. The bloody shoulder strap snapped the other day carrying a bag full of topsoil from the woods, so I just tied it to the waist strap and got 3 more bags 120L compost bags This is the only compost I could get my hands on right now. I've already hauled one down the plot, 4 more to go this week. I grew 6 autos in this spot last year, will be doing a bunch more. Last year I dug holes and amended with compost, perlite, fbb and put bottomless fabric pots above ground with the same mix. Will do similar this year. Good luck and happy growing to everyone
I was just telling @Peregrine the other day how insects have been taken care of since relocating one of my WW Autos... Clearly spoke too soon as I've discovered loads of little caterpillars eating away at the inside of my bud. The damage is minimal so far but the cats are tiny. I've removed about 15 of the tiny buggers and can't seem to find more but very unlikely I've cleared them all. If I leave them, they'd probably grow over the next few days and eat away at more of my bud. I'm about a week or two max from harvest, and spraying neem oil or anything on the plant is likely to affect my buds too. There's a lot of poop Any suggestions? LD
