  2. Eyup, I got bored and did a thing to my light. I got another light and made them kiss. Seems there aren't any true uvb leds, so tis a 24W t5 arcadia 14% uvb light, which fits nicely with samsung / diyleduk strips. also gives 30% uva for good measure rough estimate it adds just shy of a natural level of uv in proportion to the rest of the fixture. Taste tests begin roundabout new year! Fitting was easy enough, clips included and whatnot, just bolt them on. I already had holes for mounting my driver, so I cut the oscillation button from a fan in half and used them as a spacer to give it 3/4" clearance for breathing room. The strap's a bit bowed because I had to invert one of the fasteners to clear the power cable, which I did in situ, but it will do until grows end.
  3. Uv LED strip

From the album multiple strains plus cheese LST

I lay this strip across the top of my pots for the first 3 weeks of bloom then i hang the 300w CFL and the LED strip just above the canopy and i swear besides reducing stretch the uv LED makes the trichome production go through the roof, the 300w CFL are best as supplementary lights and i found that they seem to encourage the colours of the buds to show properly. when i added the CFL and the LED strip to my tent my yield didn't change massively, they maybe gained about 10% but the huge difference was in the appearance and general quality of the resulting smoke.
  4. Hello peeps, Hope all is well, my latest dilemma - understanding UV. Im buying a 315cmh and prefer the look of the agro lamp but because its uv filtered glass Im wondering what other lighting I can add to it to boost resin and oil production ? My other option was to buy the 942 lamp cmh (because it doesn't have the uv filtered glass) and maybe add some red spectrum led. Im also wondering in general what types of lights have the best uv output for resin and oil production Which uv am I looking for uva, uvb, or uvc? could I add some UV strip lights if so which ones ? Thanks for looking Cheers stay green people
