  1. Hi guys, thinking of upgrading my extractor fan due to temp issues and struggling to keep them down, so I'm guna Bite the bullet and buy a 8" box fan, I have a 6" rvk inlet and extractor fan at the min and it doesn't seem to be pulling the heat out much, temps at 33/36 only problem is, my outlet is 4" and cannot go any higher. I have a reducer at the min. And seems fine with no whistle, was thinking of reducing it from the 8" to fit a box fan, or even if I fitted a 6" box fan would this be more efficient as I know they are decent fans, much better than rvk fans, help guys need some replies please
  2. Hey peeps In the process of buying a MA 8" filter to go on a 6" fan and obviously need a reducer How do they join together? Is anything else needed ? And which would be better a metal or plastic one ? Cheers
  3. Hey P's What would be the best way to set up ducting for: Black orchid 150mm fan Mountain air 200mm filter Do I use 150mm ducting or 200mm ? And where to put the reducer ? 6"fan, reducer, 8"ducting, 8"filter or 6"Fan, 6"ducting, reducer, 8"filter Do I also need a connector to join the reducer to fan/filter ? Will I need a plastic reducer/connector if attaching to plastic fan ? Is semi rigid ducting better to use? Hope thats understandable... Thanks
