  1. Last year I grew a Killer Kush fv fem from seed. It made very good bud outdoors. This season Im trying a Big Foot fem from seeds I won in a compo. Thought I'd make a few notes about the Big Foot cos I had to read a long way back to find a diary on this strain. She's a solid kush I think so she should have a good chance in southern England lat 51. Nice big hard dark seeds. About 2 years old, stored in a drawer upstairs. Sprouted a single seed which germinated straight away. My method is to sow dry seed into wetted coco in 3 inch pot and clingfilmed until a stalk has sprouted and the cling film gradually removed The seed was first wetted 21st March. Vegged under 96w T5 flouro light, 2 x 2ft tubes. Heated base with thermostat to maintain temps during cold weather. Vegging takes ages using flouros but they're reliable and the plants like the light they make. Feed in veg. I dont add feed or ph until the seedlings are about 2+ weeks and then start at half a mil Canna Coco a + b up to 1max 1mil in veg or about 1.1 ec tops Plant out mid May. The Rice Field plot. Pretty good native soil, not ammended with fertilizer this season. Slugs were detered with copper tape and also pellets. The purple ones work better than the white pellets imo. The main hazard are rabbits which love to munch young canna plants also foxes and maybe badgers which root around the prepped soil looking for worms and digging right up to the cages. This season the rabbits have been standing upright to grab heads from a couple of the smaller cages so I've had to add more mesh as the rabbits get bolder, maybe a result of the very dry weather. Its a nice plot. My son visited recently and didn't discover it even though he suspected and looked. Bramble and nettles, big thistles surround the small plot which includes a couple of autos. Perhaps he will look harder next time. I took this pic yesterday. The Big Foot has established very well and is about waist high with nice side branching. Untopped, not really trained, but I did bend the mainstem with wire for a couple of days to prompt branching and then released it because the cage is too small and made the growth too close to the edge of the cage and the voracious rabbits. Good wishes to all
  2. Please Advise

Please can someone tell me what the brown marks are, that I have highlighted in the picture. I water nearly each day, depending on the finger test into soil. I feed it plant magic soil bloom once a week. no other chemicals, apart from water which I let it sit out around 24hrs so the ph level goes down in water. I was advised to let tap water stand for 24hrs before feeding plant. Thanks in advance.
  3. Plants Doing Well

So these have been grown organically, from seed, started off in my window, in pucks, once ready planted into my final pots as to not disturb roots again.
  4. Hello :-) new to this forum, smoking heavily years. Only jan'17 discovered guerrilla growing. i've got on ok for my first year with not much prep, learnt lots but only have 7 ish GPs from sweet seeds if the weather holds. Cropped half of two and expect the rest to finish in 2-3 weeks... been such a rubbish UK summer. For next year I've bought a few different strains that finish at different times for a good patch I have and hoping to get advice throughout the journey next year. I look forward to speaking to some of you and learning much more soon. LG
  5. Hi all I'm wondering if anyone as an idea how to get rid of caterpillars from a outdoor grow in plastic greenhouse a friend recommended bugclear fruit and veg which iv applied but they keep showing up. I think I'm about 5 weeks away from harvest Thanks
  6. Hi All, First Of All, Thank You All For All The Information And Experiences Of You All Growing, It Is A Wealth Of Knowledge At My Fingertips! I Have Been Lurking And Reading Nearly Every Post For The Last Few Months And Finally Decided To Kick Into Gear And Do My Own Grow. So A Few Details; Im Growing In Soil/Perlite (70/30) Mix Under A Controversial Led Light Of 480 Watts, Although Actual Draw Of Power Is 88 Watts. I Germinated My 4 X Seeds (Auto Speed Bud Feminised Seeds) By Female Seeds, Late On The 28th Of June, Which Then All Germinated By The 1st Of July. Originally In Soil Pellets Then Each Moved Into A 1.5 Liter Pot To Grow Under The Lights 20/4 (As Well As Under Some Hot Sun We Have Been Having) Im London, Lattitude 51. Specifics Of Strain (According To Website) Female Seeds - Auto Speed Bud A Selected Strain On Speed And Resinous Buds Out Of All The Automatic Strains On The Market Today. Low Leaf Production, With More Flowers Than Leaves. Average Stone/High... Flowering Time: 35 Days Height: 40 - 80 Cm Seed To Harvest: 53 Days Yield: Fast Bulky Crop Taste / Smell: Soft Taste With A Diesel Undertone Strain: Auto Speed Bud Breeder: Female Seeds Location: Indoor, Outdoor Type: Ruderalis/Indica/Sativa Flowering: Automatic Flowering ~53 Days (From Seedling To Harvest.) Only Female Seeds. Having Originally Started With A Very Poor Choice Of Cheap Led Grow Light Of Only 18 Watts (Lol Looking Back) Before Any Research And I Just Got The "Bug". This Was Replaced At Approx 12 Days Into The Grow To The Above Mentioned 480 Watt Light. This Being The Case I Had Issues With My Seedlings Stretching, Although Not As Bad As I Have Seen In Other Posts. This Issue Has Seeming Been Fixed Through The Use Of A Fan Constantly Blowing On Them And The Increase In Light. I Am Currently At Day 23 Of My Grow, And The Plants Are Looking Health To My Eye (Im A Keen Gardener, But Dont Have Anything To Relate This Particular Grow To). The Rootball Does Not Appear To Have Reached The Bottom Of The Pot, So I Am Hoping It Wont Have Got Rootbound Yet. I Am Aware You Are Supposedly Not Supposed To Pot Up Autos, But In This Case My Choices Were Limited; This Is More Of An Experiment And For Sh*Ts And Giggles, To See If It Possible To Do Properly Next Year. My Investment Into This Is Only About £80 All In, Including Seeds, So I Am Not Particularly Worried; It Would Just Be Fun To Grow Something Of My Own Rather Than Give These Little Shits Alot Of Money For A Far Too Few Grams. Considering Apparently 80% Of All Cannabis In The Uk Is Home Grown, Surely This Couldn't Be Too Difficult. Apologies For Images, I Will Get Some Better Ones On Tonight Without The Light. I Am Planning To Plant These Out In The Wild Tomorrow, A Friend And I Have Already Prepped The Site Some Weeks Ago, Digging Holes And Adding Nutes/Ferts Such And Fish B&B, Garden Lime Etc To The Soil As Well As New Compost Soil. 2 Plants Will Be Very Out In The Open, So Will Receive The Full Glare Of The Sun Throughout The Day, Whilst Two Are Somewhat More Secluded, Although Both Should Easily Get A Minimum Of 6-8 Hours A Day No Problem. One Plant (Top Left In Image) Seems To Have Grown One Set Of Crinkled Leaves (No Stress) And Lst Itself, With Two Bud Sites Competing Against Eachother, Which Is Shorter But Somewhat More Bushy. Should I Lst The Rest One They Are In The Ground, Or Should I Leave Them And Let Them Grow? 3 Of The Plants Are, I Believe Showing The Preflowering Phase, With Small White Pistols Appearing In A Few Sites. We Are Only Planning To Visit The Site Every 2 Of Weeks, And It Would Appear We Will Get Enough Rain For This To Be Viable. Ill Update Asap As Soon As There Is In The Ground; Any Advice Regarding How They Are For Their Age Would Be Great. Thanks For Your Time. Shaggy
  7. Hi I am starting my first Guerilla grow this summer and could really use some tips . I will be starting my feminized seeds inside for a couple weeks and then moving them to an outdoor location I have found in a very well protected isolated location I know very well but which is approximately 4 hours away from where i currently live and in the southwest of the Uk so the right planning is of the essence. I am very well familiar with indoor growing but when it comes to outdoor and especially the kind that wont be looked after regularly I could really do with some tips from some more seasoned growers. My ideas so far is to dig holes approximately 1.5m apart and turn the soil (grass is growing in this area so im assuming the soil is rich in nutrients) and pack the bottom and top layer with a fertilizer (NPK 5-1-1) , then surround the area with rabbit mesh. The main concern I have is figuring out what time of year to start the plants outside , the ideal time for me would be around mid April but I could possibly start in mid May if April is too cold or not enough sunhours , what im wondering beside from tips for getting the most of the soil etc is will the plants be ok to start their germination in April with 14 hours of sunlight? Also does it matter how long the plants germinate for or will it simply continue to germinate until the sun hours reach approximately 12/12? If so would the ideal time to collect be around end of September or early October? Thanks in advance to anyone who can lend me their knowledge . W.C
  8. I have made a list of nutrients based on what iv been told on here and what i have gathered from the threads and wondering if I add them all will it over do it for the plants ? I am considering around six plots of varied distance to where i live, some of which wont be possible to visit much apart from planting/harvesting so I would like to ensure that I don't over do it or if some of these choices should only be considered after a considerable time into the plants life ? Most of these by the way can be picked up dirt cheap at Poundstretchers (PS) incase anyone is wondering Chicken Manure pellets Blood fish and bone Bonemeal Liquid seaweed Ecothrive charge Mycorrhizal root fungi Other plans involve slug traps and Vitax slug gone eco friendly wool pellets What I plan to do is dig out each hole of around 1m squared and placing the earth into a bucket so i can loosen it up with some shears then filling the bottom with an MPK ratio of 5-1-1 fertilizer. Ill mix the soil with the nutrients listen above then fill up the hole and place a top layer of fertilizer then cover with chicken pellets that ill bring a bottle of water with to soak down a little . Ill then surround the border of each hole with the wool pellets and place one or two DIY slug traps in the corner(s) . If any of this seems obscure or unnecessary please let me know . Also I am thinking of going for coco coir growing plugs. Does anyone know if I should be starting the seeds under the towel method and then placing in the plugs or just to put the seeds in the plugs and then and then in darkness until sprouted to approx an 8th of an inch and the transferred into my propagation soil mix ? Apologies for all the newbie questions , i am new to outdoor growing and have only had experience with indoor soil growing where I used verm/perm and which was obviously controlled every day so just looking to make sure I dont get any of the crucial first stages wrong to give me a good chance . Any help is much appreciated . W
  9. So, I've currently got a CBD Therapy grow going on in a 1 x 1 x 2 metre tent, which is going nicely. However, I now have the availability of a greenhouse in which to try a few grows in. I put a Therapy Clone in there last week & after just checking on her she looks really healthy indeed, like she's loving it in there!! I guess that now, in the UK at least, is the best time to be getting your pre-established plants outdoors if you can. I read somewhere that early June is the ideal time to get your plants outside & that once the summer solstice passes on the 20th June (which is in a few days time!!) the plants will naturally start entering the flowering stage. Is this so, even if I only just put the plant out in the greenhouse last week? I put a couple of new strains into seed a month or so ago and I'm currently vegging them in my holding tent with the intention of transferring them into my flowering tent once the CBD Therapy that's currently in there has been harvested, but now, based on seeing how the Therapy clone is taking to the greenhouse, and the natural, full spectrum light, I am wondering whether I'd be better served transferring these new strains into the greenhouse asap, ultimately looking to harvest sometime around mid October. What do you think fellas, what would be your advice on where to put my currently vegging strains now that I have a greenhouse available? The new strains that I'm asking your advice on regarding the growing environment are all Sativa dominant strains, all 75-25% Sativa's; Super Silver Haze, CBD Mango Haze & Strawberry Sour Diesel.

  11. From experience any strains especially not the norm's i.e frisian, highest yield from experience also done on time pref before mid october also do you think blue dream would finish on time p.s ive already had a look at the outdoor strain thread just seems to not to be very active.
  12. I've started my diary over in the diary section now I've got my locations sorted but being completely new to this style of growing I wanted to run my plan by you more experienced growers to make sure I've got the right idea before I start digging.. 1) Turn over local soil. Mix in Chicken Pellets, Fish/Blood/Bone Meal and CalSeaFeed. Water once thoroughly and let sit for 2-4 weeks to cool and settle as feeds can be hot. 2) Mix 2 bags of Jack's Magic Compost into the amended local soil and water before planting. - Crack AUTO seeds at home, plant directly into soil with a humidity dome over the top for the first week. (Big water jugs from supermarkets) - Set up wire mesh perimeter around the plants to stop wildlife. - Stick copper tape traps around stems to scare slugs and bugs. 3) Let nature do its work! - Return once when flowering begins to top feed with some Bonemeal, Sulphate of Potash and more CalSeaFeed. Does it sound like I've got the right idea? Please correct me if I'm wrong! diary here - http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=368476&hl= 420
