My drip irrigation system seems to be flooding my grow room when ever the tank is over half full, I'm guessing it's a syphon effect just wondering how I can stop this. 200l 1.2m high tank with a 3000lph pump. Set to run for 15mins each day 1hr after lights on. But when the pump stops the system continues to drip and is flooding the room.
Hey guys so I'm getting ready for a grow shortly but instead of hand watering I'm going to setup an irrigation system as I was going to go back to soil but have decided to stick with coco and the daily watering is to much for me. My plan is for 12-15 11L pot with 2 4l/ph drippers per pot so should take 20-30 minutes of running to get the pots saturated and give a bit of run off. Supply pipe will be 13mm and dripper feed tube will be 4mm. The only thing I'm not sure of is what size of pump to use, I was looking at the maxi jet 1000 or 1200 but wasn't sure if they have enough power to push the water around a system of that size or whether I would need to use something bigger. What do you think?
