  1. Hey Guys, on the hunt for a really quiet inline fan and carbon filter to go with it. Tent is 60 x 60 x 140. Came across the cloud line t4 fan by ac infinity. Seems to have all this mad tech in it to make it really quiet and a unit that helps adjust the fan speed to match humidity and temperature. Will all this really make a difference or should i just go with a traditional unit and a variac controller? Now I've been adding up my costs for the tent, lights and fan and carbon filter...and my god is it getting expensive. the phresh carbon filters that everyone recommends on here are an additional 100 quid at least along with a good fan that's another 100. Tents are a ball ache to find a good one, fairly sorted on the light front but now im struggling to deal with getting good extraction for a decent price. really want something thats quiet as it will be in the house. Any recommendations guys?
  2. Hello! I have recently purchased this Variac: https://www.sentera.eu/Product/Details/eng/108450/230-VAC-transformer-fan-speed-controller-15-A and this extraction fan: https://www.amazon.co.uk/XFLO100S-Inline-Bathroom-Extractor-Standard/dp/B01GCG35RA Despite reading the mounting instruction, I have literally no idea on what to do to connect the Variac to my fan. I have tried searching on the forum but I am not able to find a step-by-step guide for newbies like me. This is the last problem I need to solve before starting my grow, so I would really appreciate if someone who's got a similar setup could help me out. There's nothing on Youtube and can't seem to find anything that explains the mounting for a complete electricity illiterate. Thanks in advance guys.
  3. Hi guys, Currently using a 5" RVK for extraction but want to get the temps down a bit, especially during summer months. I'm currently using a wardrobe, the grow space under the refelctor is roughly 1.2m (H) x 70cm (L) x 50cm (W). I use a 250w. Was thinking of using a PC fan, but been looking at some inline fans for around £10-20. Seen some on the bay and amazon, but so many makes/suppliers to chose from. Anyone got any recommendations? Ta.
