  1. Just wondered if its entirely necessary to run one, especially on my particular setup - 100x100x180cm tent running AC T6 fan with ScopeX 350 light, flowering will be done over scrog which will be 90x90cm roughly leaves about 150mm around the outside of the grow flowering gorw space .. it's still in progress so not sure how many pots/plants having , I think mostly likely 2. Also, are the ram humidifiers any good for the job if I need one? Thanks guys

  3. So I'm about to begin a grow and I'm just currently running the grow room to see how everything is working. The fans I have bought to use as the intake and extraction seem to be quite powerful, and the grow space is the size of a tall fridge. I'm having trouble getting the humidity to rise, I have the temp at currently 25c. Is there any way of reducing fan speed or the amount of air that's being drawn and extracted. As the fans I have do not have any control options . I feel like before the space even has time to adjust its being replaced with new air and the humidity is very low.
  4. So basically as the title suggests... I’m a yield whore and want to maximise my space in my 2.4x1.2 tent. I wanna get my big 13l humidifier and get rid of my 2k convector heater and build a box with either a 500w or 1000w heater and my humidifier then run an active intake through that to my tent. Any recommendations of materials to use as I’m assuming there will be high heat and humidity. Any one don’t this and experienced any problems or got any advice? Thanks I’m advance
  5. I'm sitting here smoking and over thinking as usual. I've just indulged in a humidifier and a RO dispenser, I love a gadget, I should learn how to grow first lol. My question is simple, I grow in coco btw; Do you need to PH the RO water for the humidifier ? If it don't matter why not ? Should I as I've not been doing Ps plants love it
  6. Please move if posted in wrong place Hi everyone. Been reading on here for a while found a lot of helpful information that’s helped me with my first few attempts. Long story short I started growing to help my mum who had terminal cancer with pain relief, fast forward 18 months and I’m now on my 4th grow. I’m struggling to achieve gpw and think this is down to my environment. I have a 1.2m bloomroom loft tent. I have a 6 inch outtake with a rhino filter. Currently using passive intake with a bit of ducting from room below. Running a 600w hps with dimmable omega ballast. X2 oscillating fans, humidifier for veg. 700w oil filled rad for lights off. My fan is a rhino thermostatic but I don’t think the temp control is very reliable. I’ve been using 11l pots with pure canna coco. Using canna range a and b, rhiz, cannazym, boost and pk. Swapped pk for bloombastic on current grow as advised by someone better than me lol. Watering every 2 days up to 2.5L in flower! Don’t seem to be getting the growth I would like in veg and seems to take forever for them to gain size! Now for the questions please! Do I need an intake fan? If so what size? Recommendations on fan controllers for intake outake and heater? Or easiest way to control them all? Would I be better doing 9x6.5l? Less veg time? If so would I put them straight under hps from cutting? A lot more info to share with you guys if you need any to help me! Sorry to ask so many questions on my first post! Thanks in advance
  7. figured id put this here for anyone interested in saving themselves some ££ and a bit of diy, most of us will have this stuff already around so its cheap basic diy at its finest i already had everything for the scrog net only had to buy the glue for the glue gun which is a couple quid. i made it using very simply... 4x 1.2m bamboo sticks from wilko(to go into a 1.2m tent, adjust size to suit others) twine/string(a lot) glue gun+ a good few sticks of glue and some good time stringing it up all you do is overlap slightly the bamboo into a square frame, glue it together with lots of glue, flip it over once dry and glue the other side also, then you just string up and cut/tie your string to desired shape(wonky bamboo will affect the spacing a little as you see from mine),i went around and glued the tied ends of the string to the frame to stop them moving. and there you will have a extremely flexible scrog net with frame. Bucket ultrasonic humidifier/fogger a 14L bucket from wickes .99p ultrasonic atomizer/fogger with frame + plug about £16 (cheap one,not much output, good for small tent or drobe etc, need higher output one for bigger spaces) polystyrene for float, your probably have some around like i did get your bucket and fill it with hot water from the tap(better mist),next just assemble the frame and put the fogger in and cut a hole in some thick enough polystyrene to fit around the top as a float, slightly smaller will help to wedge it in the hole you cut,put it in the bucket and watch it float, once its ok plug it in and your off.
