  1. Cheers @panik for the competition, you've been generous with the incentive to say the least. I'm on an outdoor mission at the latitude 51N (SW). The strains I will be growing this year are: -GreenGold (RGSC) -Lemonade OG X Freezeland (RGSC) -Frisian Dew -Mango X NL Auto X Cinderella 99 BX1 -Double Blanche -Purple Sourlite -Purple Satellite The aim of my grow this year is to select the best strains for the welsh climate which sends all our weed rotten (I have no doubt RGSC will win me over). I want to cross the Mango X NL Auto X Cinderella 99 BX1 with a very hardy strain that has been grown in the area for about 60 years (could even call it my area's landrace). I also have a cancer patient who I am going to make some resin for which is very rewarding for me. I have dug 3 foot wide 3 foot deep holes at my plot which I will photograph in the next week. My babies gonna b lovin it in there! Never been that great with DIY but I've really gone for it this year and made a 100cm by 200cm coldframe for the young ones out of some old wood and a roll of polythene I had lying around. see pictures below. It's only my third year of growing so I'm not looking to win the competition but just share info and get advice from people that know better than me. I'm aiming to update you guys on the op roughly once a week. starting off with 70 regs and hoping to get about 40 ladies out of it if I'm lucky
  2. Hi all this is my first grow and I am planning on growing out doors I intended on planting 3 frisian de.(any big other big yeilds and very low maintenance you can HIGHLY recommend for a UK grow ) Firstly I plant to germinate indoors with a self watering 2lt bottle in compost. I got 3 different spots close to each other just for 3 plants. My plan to have 3 seprate bottomless 10lt bucket berried with a mix of 50/50 compost and natural soil as the soil seems good anyway I'm planing on adding perlite, fish blood and bone meal and lime in to my mix and then using wire mesh bins to keep rabbits away. I will also cover the soil mix with a weed guard sheet potentially stop any competition growing in the bucket and also using the bucket to eliminate compaction of any other surrounding root systems. I have read frisian dew is low maintenance and I am hoping to only go to site once a month. Plant to germinate mid April and put in the ground once they almost out grow the bottle. Also planning on keeping open buckets in shaded areas to gather rain water as a back up during drought Any advice will be appreciated thanks
  3. Hi all, Long time smoker but pretty new to this growing malarkey! I’m at lat 53 and after reading about the outdoor successes of Dinafem seeds I’ve gone ahead and got myself a few to try for myself outdoors! I'm lucky enough to have some secure land with good soil (ex-farm land) not too far from me so I can keep an eye on the girls and I’m hoping this thread will help me get the most of out what I have with the collective knowledge on this site. So, what do I hope to be smoking later this year I hear you ask? Well I’ve bought: 3 x Dinafem Critical+ 2.0 3 x Sweet Killer Kush F1 FV 1 x Dinafem Auto Bubba Kush 1 x Dinafem Blue Critical Auto 1 x Dinafem Critical Jack Auto 3 x Dinafem White Widow XXL Auto 3 x Dinafem Blue Amnesia XXL Auto 1 x NYC Diesel Auto (free - seed company unknown) 1 x Fruit Punch Auto (free - seed company unknown)

  5. New plot

    From the album Russjackell

Went my main plot today, bit of hole prep, found this corker of a plot like literally next door. How the fuck I didn’t see this last year I’ll never know. This will now be the main plot (6 plants) old plot will now be auto plot as has less cover come sept/octOct
  6. I have a gap in a pretty good plot, about 3ft wide, it’s got a fallen log blocking the gap and last year I chucked a couple hundred nettle seeds down, however come late sept/ Oct most has died back. It’s a chance in a million anyone would walk past given that it’s so out of the way but if they did..... anyone know what I could plant in the gap now/ish to give me more cover come July/aug ?
  7. So this is the thing with autos. THEY ARE SHIT! Frequently no mold resistance. If you look at the more experienced growers on the site you will see they have little time for autos and it is largely because they are shite. Controversial but still, shite. The extra ruderalis genes make them a weaker smoke too, not to mention the tiny yields as befits miniature plants. Its incredible the seeds are the same price as photo plants. I know its all about the early smoke and I had decent results in 2012 of all soaking wet years. It was a slugocalypse and just rained and rained. I was surprised to witness Sour 60 seeds I was given by a fellow GG (bred by MDanzig) totally smashing it. There will be the odd one come along. However I really don't think autos are worth it. The smoke from the Sour 60 was way weaker thanKC 36 or Easy sativa. Read a few recent posts abound rotting autos. This is one of the driest summers ever but just wait one or two storms and the stupid crap autos will nearly all be turning to mush.... If you are gonna get out and do prep and take that risk then grow some thoroughbred monsters instead I say. I mean just look at how superior KC 36 and P Maroc are as examples. I am not running any autos this year thank fuck and will not again. Oh I know I will go do a load of back breaking work and take risks just to grow some tiny, weak, mold prone, extortionate abberations of nature. I am too impatient to wait for the sun so I will get some 'automatic weed'... super, semi, ultra, uber, HYPER-autos that are far better than silly old patience... Auto = impatience! Some will say photos grow too big for my garden/ balcony, um Helloooo this is why it is Guerilla Growing because its not in your garden or on your balcony! That is the great benefit of the wild places whether between industrial units and trains tracks or right out in the sticks. So you can go grow some potent monsters.... Thing is Loamy there is literally NOWHERE to grow around here for full size plants. Umm just look properly or widen your territory. But I can't be arsed/too busy. So just 'man up' a bit..., stop wingeing and go do it for fucks sake. Autos = Laziness! The breeders are laughing their tits off. Buy them twice in a season! Buy more to get a higher overall yield! Autos = stupidity! And the prize for being Impatient, Lazy and Stupid is..... 'YOU THINK AUTOS ARE GREAT WHEN THEY ARE ACTUALLY SHIT' ...please re read that last line at least 7 times out loud. .... autos  What a load of wank...

  9. Does anyone have any experience with CBD hemp strains and which ones work well in the southern part of the UK? I would like to set up a plot for my dad in a garden but he's not into the THC or smoking so I want to make some oils for him to help his varied muscle and body issues . Im looking for a strain with very little or no Thc hence thinking a hemp variety would be the one . Any info would be appreciated
  10. I have made a list of nutrients based on what iv been told on here and what i have gathered from the threads and wondering if I add them all will it over do it for the plants ? I am considering around six plots of varied distance to where i live, some of which wont be possible to visit much apart from planting/harvesting so I would like to ensure that I don't over do it or if some of these choices should only be considered after a considerable time into the plants life ? Most of these by the way can be picked up dirt cheap at Poundstretchers (PS) incase anyone is wondering Chicken Manure pellets Blood fish and bone Bonemeal Liquid seaweed Ecothrive charge Mycorrhizal root fungi Other plans involve slug traps and Vitax slug gone eco friendly wool pellets What I plan to do is dig out each hole of around 1m squared and placing the earth into a bucket so i can loosen it up with some shears then filling the bottom with an MPK ratio of 5-1-1 fertilizer. Ill mix the soil with the nutrients listen above then fill up the hole and place a top layer of fertilizer then cover with chicken pellets that ill bring a bottle of water with to soak down a little . Ill then surround the border of each hole with the wool pellets and place one or two DIY slug traps in the corner(s) . If any of this seems obscure or unnecessary please let me know . Also I am thinking of going for coco coir growing plugs. Does anyone know if I should be starting the seeds under the towel method and then placing in the plugs or just to put the seeds in the plugs and then and then in darkness until sprouted to approx an 8th of an inch and the transferred into my propagation soil mix ? Apologies for all the newbie questions , i am new to outdoor growing and have only had experience with indoor soil growing where I used verm/perm and which was obviously controlled every day so just looking to make sure I dont get any of the crucial first stages wrong to give me a good chance . Any help is much appreciated . W
  11. After looking extensively through this forum for successful Uk outdoor strains and through my own research I have compiled a list of strains that look good to me . The ideal strain is one which is mold resistant (even though i know this can be unavoidable sometimes) and not too heavy buds as I will not be able to visit my plots too regularly . If any of you have any experience with the strains listed below any info would be much appreciated as to which I should stay clear of and which could be very useful in my circumstance . I will be going for approximately 6 plots spread out over a latitude of 50-51 this year and would like to narrow down my strain choices to 3-4 so any info would really help me make the right choices . 1. Kaya Gold - Nirvana Seeds 2. Northern Lights - Nirvana Seeds 3. Purple #1 - Dutch Passion 4. Blue Hash - Dinafem 5. Killer Kush - Sweet Seeds - 6. OG KUSH - Dinafem 7. Blackberry OG - Emerald Triangle 8. Diesel - Dinafem 9. Passion # 1 - Dutch Passion
  12. I have 6 autos bunched together all in flower with some coming down in 1-2 weeks and have been worrying about mold at lat 56. I have a made preventative spray from a diluted mixture of apple cider vinegar that i read others using but I am worried that it willl affect the aroma/taste of the end result when used this far on. First grow and dont want to fail at the last hurdle but dont want to ruin the bud!?

  16. Weeeeeell just the other day, i was joking with my friend, what would we do if we find an intruder at one of our plots? At the time i laughed it off, but when i sat down and thought about it, I was kinda lost for words, how awkward would it be? I mean, do i smash the fuck out of whoever it is, then destroy all our plants? do i have a word in his shell like, and cut a deal? I think not I think i would just say "Right, i am gonna destroy all my plants, and if you are still here when i am finished, you are fuckin next" ha ha Zog
