  1. Welcome to my little part of the world, please do pull up a comfortable seat and sit back to enjoy my offerings for your viewing pleasure. Firstly, I must express my continued thanks and appreciation to the Sweet Seeds team, @Sweet Seeds-tommy, @Sweet Seeds -Jaypp, and all the rest of the gang who make the magic happen for the rest of us ! Last year, I was the lucky winner of the Sweet Seeds 2017 Best Video, I have the trophy in pride of place in my living room, can't for the life of me get a good photograph of it as its glass with white etching on it, will try again later.... This year I will be doing a timelapse of a Cream Devil, from seed to harvest. I have my fingers crossed for many shades of red towards the end of the video to give it that wow factor, we will see ! As I am mid project at the moment I will be starting my main grow for the competition around the 2nd week of December, this will be a wide variety of Sweet Seeds offerings : So, that is me committed, the ball is rolling, tomorrow I shall set up the 40 x 40 tent with a 125 CFL for the Devil Cream. Get the camera all set up, and hopefully next weekend I will have a little 20 second video to show you of her popping out of the soil Until then, keep safe and have sweet smokes
  2. Crystal Candy F1 FV® Fast flowering photoperiod-dependent version of one of the tastiest strains from the Sweet Seeds® catalog, Crystal Candy® (SWS58), awarded with the 1st Prize for the Best Indica at Spannabis Champions Cup 2017. Crystal Candy F1 Fast Version® (SWS73) is the resulting hybrid from the cross between our Crystal Candy® and a selected genetic line of Sweet Special Auto (SWS35). This version features the curious and exquisite sweet aroma, reminiscent of strawberry chewing gum or candy shop, that turned the original Crystal Candy® into an extremely appreciated strain. This strain is a prominent high producer of big aromatic resin crystals that totally cover the flowers and their surrounding leaves with a high density of large big-headed trichomes. It is possible to obtain extractions of exquisite quality and incredibly pleasant aroma from the buds of this plant. Data Sheet Variety SWS73 Indica: 60% / Sativa: 40% Indoor Yield: 450-600 g/m2 Outdoor Yield: 400-650 g/plant Indoor Blooming: 6-7 weeks Outdoor Harvest: late August to early September
  3. Hola Sweet Seeds! It's that time of year when I get growing and rather than being a lurker like I have been for the last 7 years I thought I'd become a contributer as I'm trying out some strains I've had in my seed tin for some time. I love Afghani strains and I need to top up my jars pretty quick this year so I ordered the Sweet Afghani Delight. I thought I had ordered the normal photoperiod strain but these F1 Fast Versions were in the parcel I opened so I put it down to stoner error and thought this earlier finish would benefit me anyway, I hope the claims of them being a week quicker ring true as 6-7 weeks rather than 7.5 for an Afghani would be quite nice as a rotational top up/extraction strain. I got a 5 pack with 2 free seeds, all of them have been germinating, I will use 4 for my flowering space, which is undergoing some refurbishments, the others that grow out will be used to take cuts and build up stock in my mother and cuts space. I'll be using Plant Magic Soil Supreme as my potting media and combining it with ecothrive charge in the growth stage and adding bat guano also in the flowering stage. As the seeds have been in the fridge for what must be a year or more now I started them off in paper towel and moved them into peat pellets in a heated propagator sat under a T5 unit. 5 so far! not sure if the other 2 want to say hello as they've just stopped at the surface, will leave them be for now. Any questions or banter is welcome, will update as much as possible without boring you and me through the veg phase!
  4. Welcome to my new diary ! I shall be trying out a long slow grow with organic ingredients. All my Sweet Seeds ladies are clones from my competition run, I have just popped 5 Ugorg Blues and they are also in the tent but I shall not be concentrating on them in this diary, they will be in the background The soil I have to hand is clover, I'm not sure this is 100% organic but thats what they have all started in for the moment. I am getting a couple of bags of biobizz all mix for the next potting up in a week or two. I am mixing in Guanokalong powdered batpoo, a bit of volcanic rock dust, some additional Mycorrhizal Fungi, a generous serving of ecothrive charge, and finally some additional plagron worm humus. For additional fertilisers I shall be using Canna Rhizotonic (yup it's organic), BioBizz Fish Mix and Biobizz Bloom. I dont think there will be a need for grow, we will see. There are two Jack47's which came from a very healthy branch and big sticks of bud making mother, the mother was small but did really well so I am in the process of lots of LST and topping. They both have about 16-20 main branches on the grow - I intend to have to Jack47 trees, they may get topped once more yet. The plants are enjoying being manipulated, they are thriving as you will see below. The Sweet Cheese and Sweet Skunk clones I have one of each, they are survivors from their wicks not sucking up water whilst I was away on vacation. They will catch up with the jacks, but for now they just have 4 -6 growing tops happening. There are 5 x Urgorg Blues babies I have just moved into the tent also. If I can get the work done on my new shed everything will be transferred to there giving me much more space to grow. Thats the plan ! Heres a couple of pictures for now A closer look at Jack47
  5. Welcome to my humble offering for the Sweet Seeds 2017 Diary Competition. Firstly, many thanks to Sweet Seeds for the free seeds, quite some deal - I send you no money and you send me three packs of seeds - I feel like I have already won before I started ! Here is a quick run down on the plan : Germinate the seeds in a 40x40x160 tent with a 125w Blue CFL using the good old fashioned standard - Wet tissue paper laced with 2ml per litre of Rhiztonic. Pop them into some Root Riot cubes and allow them to rise and root up. Once rooted their first pot will be a 0.7l square filled with Clover soil. Once they outgrow the small tent I shall transplant them into their final pots, 11 litre square's, once again using Clover soil but also with some additional organic bat guano - 1 litre mixed in with 80 litres of soil. Once in their final pots they will complete the journey in the big tent - 70x170x180 with 2 air cooled hoods holding 600w bulbs. I am using dimmable ballasts so can range from 400-1000w each if needed. Blue MH bulbs will go in to begin with then when flowering I can switch to the Red bulbs. Feeding will be kept simple, Rhizotonic all the way through until a few weeks before the end, Canna Start possibly whilst starting to veg out, Biobizz Fishmix once in full veg and in final pots, and finally Biozbizz Grow & Biobizz Bloom as appropriate. I live in a hard water area so doubt I will suffer from cal mag issues, but just in case, I do have a fresh bottle of Canna Trace Mix, so if there appears to be any kind of deficiency showing I will give them a few doses of this. Seed selection was difficult. Ideally I need a warehouse to fulfill my dreams, with a tent of every breed possible, but I had to settle on three. It was tough ! Jack47 (fast version) - I always kept looking this one up but its one of the more expensive ones - And I'm a tight arse Sweet Cheese (fast version) - I have done Sweet Cheese Auto a few times and even got a few hundred of my own seeds crossed with a SuperSkunk Auto male. My current favourite flavour. Sweet Skunk (fast version) - I couldn't resist, I am hoping to find a really deep skunky pheno, fingers crossed ! I will take clones, I would like to have a few mother plants. There are plans for a shed, in March I hope, if this happens then there will be a midnight move down to the end of the garden into a grow area twice the size of the tent. We will see ! They say a picture paints a thousand words. I agree. With this in mind I shall be setting up my DSLR camera on a little tripod with a timer so I can create a time lapse video to share with you all. I did a first attempt a while back which was pretty cool, I shall add it below. The plant in the video is now 82 days old and close to cropping, a Killer Kush Auto Last night I put all seeds into their tissue paper and covered them with a plant pot, it was nice and warm in the small tent with the 125w cfl powered up. Most of the seeds have cracked open and are showing their tap root, here a few pictures to get this diary started. Jack47 after 24h with a heavy watering of 2ml/litre Rhizotonic Sweet Cheese Sweet Skunk All seeds were put in to Root Riots And then heavily watered with the 2ml/litre Rhizotonic and put under the plastic hood of a propagator Happy smokes everyone !
  6. Hello everyone have a question to ask, would like to give a shout to @@SkyRider for helping me so far ect.. I first thought i was planting autoflowers, somehow i managed to germinate and not realize for a few days that they were just fast version seeds (Sweet seeds cream caramel F1 to be exact) yeah i know right real stupid.. The most stupid thing was i was following this guide which i was telt on here wasn't that useful. To cut it short i germinated 4 photo seeds straight into 11 litre pots of coco and perlite 70:30, they are sprouted fine just now there light pale green, there not dead as i say @@SkyRider has done alot to help me so big ups to him, but hes a soil guy! Hes helping me to the best but theres gotta be someone whos done or know someone whos done this before? Anyway there on day 8/9, three of them are fine as i say abit light but number 4 is still lacking on producing any new leaves. (BY THE WAY ITS MY FIRST EVERY GROW, JS;)) I started them on a ph of 6.5 thinking they were autos i give the pots an initial soaking of that before germinating anyway i started dropping it now ive been told and read that i should be giving in the region of 5.8-6.0 ph, is this correct i have done this for the last two days just with misting the top soil so hopefully that sorts them... But since ive put them in big pots i dont know the best way about watering ive read so many claims let it dry out, flush till run off, ect i havent watered or fed till any run off so far ive just kept misting the top soil there are still abit heavy/damp so still have water in them but should i flush till run off to see if thats the problem? thats what i dont know since there only babys and they obviously wont have much roots yet? Anyway that probably sounded confusing as fuck i hate typing so bad!, im a bit stoned but everyone on here is full of helpful advice i was wondering if anyone could sort off lay something out there!! Thanks james, happy smoking

  10. Ladies and Gentlemen, please get comfortable and fill your vaporizer with the best and sweetest weed because is about to start the Sweet Seeds Grand Prix! The participants in this great race are 3 genetics, part of the F1 Fast version family of Sweet Seeds. Specially we will see how they show the bodywork of 3 of its fastest varieties: Green Poison, Sweet Special y Cream Caramel. As you may have read, this year 2013, Sweet Seeds decided to bring to market a new line of F1 hybrids, with a very special characteristic: ultra-fast flowering. These new F1 hybrids have been selected through very thorough testings, by crossing the top non-auto-flowering elite clones from Sweet Seeds bank, with a selection of extra fast autoflowering genetics of 3º generation. The result, are plants that can get to shorten its flowering period between 1 and 2 weeks, regarding to the original versions, without losing any of the main features of genetics, or reducing the harvest. An important tip is these aren't auto-flowering plants, they are F1 varieties, but all of them has the main feature of being able to accelerate the flowering and maturing moment properly. By being F1 genetics, they can be kept in an indoor closet, under a grow rate with a light regime of 18h/6h without having signs of flowering, so we can select a good mother to self-supply of cuttings. Lets move on the race where we can already appreciate, in their 4th day of life, the fastest competitors. Heading the line is Green Poison, followed very closely by Cream Caramel. The Sweet Special took one day more to germinate. This is going to be an interesting race, and it will have a really dizzying pace, so don't get lost friends, I await you here for the next update where we'll see how the starting grid has left after the trainings Thanks to all for stopping and comment and fasten your seat belt!!!
