Hi guys, So I just transplanted my seedlings from 1.5" rockwool to 3" as there were some roots coming out: Before: After: The new cubes were presoaked in 5.5 ph'd water with canna roots and vitalik plant start. Now I would like to prevent any algae formation on the surface of the rockwool cubes, so I came up with this idea: However I don't know if this diamond sheeting is a good idea, since they could create hotspots and I don't find them too functional when handwatering my rockwool. So is there any other alternative I could use or would they be okay without those covers? And this takes me to my second question. Once they are in the final system (I'll be using clay pebbles), where should I place the blue drippers? Should I directly stick them in the rockwool cubes or should I place them close to them inside the pebbles? I'm afraid there's not an equal distribution of water among the pebbles... So, option 1 or 2? If I go with the first option I could't keep the cover and would be attracting algae, is that right? However, the second option would not distribute water in a equitable way. Thank you very much buds.
