  9. Grew 3 bag seeds of some sunset sherbert found in an 8th bought awhile back. 3Litre coco with canna a+b first time . only ended up with 1 worth keeping . Buds are looking nice and swollen pistils orange etc. trichomes are mostly milky with the odd rare amber. was wondering what anyones intake on harvesting ? is it worth doing a dark period now or just cutting her down and hanging full?. also i f*cked up at the beginning with the watering coco. let them dry out to much . my sour diesel seedling has better roots then this does xD now, peace.

  11. Hi All , Newbie here Been growing outdoors for 20 or so years now. Had a lovely Sensi Shiva Skunk from the mid 90's that finished perfectly every year nice and early, nice buds, big strong plant and always managed to give me a few seeds each year to re grow her. And put enough in the jars for a year. Sadly lost it about 5 years back and haven't really found anything as nice and poky as that since. Was recently given a bag of Durban Poison ( landrace ? i know it's a buzzword right now but they might be something interesting ) seeds from a South African friend, stuff he collected before he came to the UK 9 or so years ago. There are probably a hundred or so 50% white 50% dark. I wanted advise on the best things to do with them. I have no idea if they have been stored carefully or not. How viable they are, whether I should be topping, scrogging, indoors, outdoors. And wondered what the best things to cross them with for UK outdoor growing would be. What sort of flowering time would these exhibit. I see many say they finish nice and early in the UK but also see some 14 week Durbans that definately wouldn't be so good for the UK. Any pointers in the right direction or a thread that could assist me further would be gratefully appreciated. Would it be worth opening a new thread asking for advice ?
  12. Hi, First grow and have had some great help from many of you on here. Im back with another question that i'm sure gets asked time and time again but not all plants are the same so..... Judging by the pics do you think i have a female plant? i think it is due to what look like trichomes but could that just be camera flash tricking my eye? they aren't really visible in natural light. Also the whispy ish looking hairs make me think they are not nanas. Thanks in advance Also a pic of the whole plant because i don't think its a bad effort for my first grow. It's bag seed from Barbados looks like sativa to me possibly a natural strain as it doesn't smell very much?
  13. So, I have began the germination process today and I plan to plant these 3 regs into native soil at the edge of a field within the next 72 hours. They won't be maintained much, more like planted and left, but there will be some photos of this experiment in due course over the coming days/weeks, so I can document how they grow and survive when planted out this early on. It is more of an experiment than anything just to see how they do, for myself, and I certainly don't expect them to grow much, if anything at all. Hopefully I will get at least 1 female out of the 3 bagseed, assuming they even survive at all... It seems quite a few of you on here insist that early March plant outs are perfectly safe, so in theory a late February plant out can't be that much riskier... I know the sunlight hours are still very low, but it was quite mild out at my plot this morning (12C) and it got me thinking that it is only going to get warmer from here on. I thought "fuck it, why not", lets germinate something, just to see. I admit it is mostly down the the fact that I cant be bothered to wait around for another 4-6 weeks. If I waited until April to do my actual seeds that I have purchased, then I wouldn't even bother doing any of the bagseed at all anyway, so I've got nothing to lose from doing this now. Let's see how early really is considered 'too early'... Regards, Dr. G
