Hi I thought I'd open this thread to get some question i have answered but also a place for others to get help with any questions they may have. So question 1: I wonder if any of the products in the picture below replace the use of a product like "VitaLink Silicon Max"?, just worried about over doing it as it didn't cross my mind until after feeding Question 2: Anyone have their own experience when using these with BioBizz lightMix/AllMix soils, as in feeding levels per litres, i have downloaded the feeding chart but not sure how adjusted they may need for BioBizz composts? Chart Thanks.

Hello good folks, I've just trimmed up some amazing smelling Blueberry Cheese and popped it in a jar with a 62% humidy pack. Small twigs all snapping nicely, i'd say they were all dry. A day later, they're not smelling so amazing and sort of turning towards the hay secant. Why is this, even after a day? Don't want this amazing smelling flower to turn into a jar of hay, any help greatly appreciated!

Hello UK420 Family, I've got a quick question, so I've just gone in the room and thought I'll do the 'Paper test' where you grab a piece of a4 paper, hold it under the plant and shake the plant to see if any pests or anything falls off the plants. This is a method I've used since I had mites few grows back and have been clear so far, up until today. I did the test and noticed small worm like creatures walking around on the paper, I grabbed one of the most unhealthiest leaves in the room and lo and behold, there was a small fucker walking around on the back of the leaf as well. Now I am almost at week 3 of flower and have budsites show up since week 2 of flower, I've read a lot on neem oil but everyone says not to use it when buds show as it will taint the taste of the final product, so I've decided that if I need to, I will go the predator route to tackle the problem. Shaking a plant in a 20l pot, only produced about 3/4 of these so it must be very early stage, and on the leaf I could only see a single one. Only issue I have, is that I do not know what the heck these are, and this is where I need you guys help. Anyone have any idea what this might be? I've took these pictures with a digital microscope and the ones with white background is on the a4 paper and the one with the green background is directly on the leaf. You can see them with naked eye and there's literally no damage across the plants in the tent except for one which was a very old mother and I decided to flower her this round as I won't be keeping her around. Any help is appreciated

Hi all I was wondering if anyone could lend a hand to a beginner? I've got a setup going listed below and would appreciate it if someone could maybe point out any flaws in it before I commit? This would be only for my use and a small 2-3 autoflower setup Tent: 80 x 80 x 160cm Light: TS600 Full Spectrum LED 85w Mars Hydro 4 inch extraction kit with a filter Growing in something along the lines of Canna soil in 20L pots and other bits and bobs like a hydrometer etc Would you say its a good setup? I'm most worried about the light might look into a 150W version of the same brand but 85 is what an experienced buddy of mine recommended for that size of tent Any input would be much appreciated! Cheers

To whoever is reading this I could do with a little advice! My leaves are clawing and it’s doing my nut in! I’m in the 3rd week in veg under 600W HPS using canna aqua vega in clay pebbles, running a recirculating system. 24° in the room 50-60% relative humidity 1.1 EC in the water i had an oscillating fan blowing on them I have now turned that away incase it was wind burn. I’m currently watering 15 minutes every 1.5hr (played around and settled at this), is it too little perhaps? I’m only running a single 600W HPS light for 6 plants which is roughly 80cm away from the tips so I wouldn’t think light damage so only other thing I can think is there is too little nitrogen in my nutrient solution however I’ve followed Canna’s feeding guide so surely it’s not that? any help if you’ve seen this before and what it could be would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone, I've been trying to garner as much information as I can on this site but also feel like I'm confusing myself. Some background...a friend gave me some seeds for secret Santa this Xmas and I went and germinated all 3 of them. Hasty of me but here we are and I've got to live with it. Then via various bits of reading here and there have come to the conclusion there's a probably a lot more that needs to be done to ensure I get something out of these plants growing. I'm not looking to do this for anything more than curiosity/wanting to understand more about growing so don't really fancy spending a lot of £££ immediately - if that changes I'm more than happy to invest a lot more. I'm aware you get what you pay for but currently I've got 3 plants growing (and it's unlikely to ever be more than this in one go tbh). Would someone be able to recommend kit that at most would probably max out at £200. Honestly I've tried going through different threads here but I feel like every time I've come in with a clear question and looking for it to be answered I come away with with about 20 more. I live on my own (and a cat) so not too worried about having to hide it away or anything - are grow tents worth the hassle? Or is it okay to just fence off an area and use LEDs - fan to get rid of the smell when need be? Thank you in advance for your patience I'm just really struggling with information overload at the moment...

Just been to check on my little ladies and noticed these on my Sweet Skunk plant... It's the only one I'm growing so have no others to compare with of this strain - but wasn't sure if this is a male or turning? It's the worst of my four plants, is very floppy and while the others seem to be doing ok this seems rather lifeless. AHP

Hi guys need your help. So I done 4/5 reasonable successful grows with Auto's in soil, plant magic with plant magic neuts under HPS light. 1mx1m tent with 4 plants. My buddy decided to get in on the act and started some auto's in same soil in small pots under LED light. Potted on the babies to 10ltr pots and kept them untill my tent was empty. 8 plants with the idea of giving me 4 and him having 4 once my latest crop was finnished. All good..my crop finnishd and new crop by my buddy transferred into my tent at about 4week old. Now the problems First we think the seeds were over watered at start as all the soil on to of pots went green an mouldy. Not that much to concern us massively. When he potted on the root system looked ok. They were doing ok but never looked really happy, untill about two weeks into bloom. Now both my and my buddy's plants look droopy and sad. Think there a right off. Two theory's Root system not good down to overwatering at seeds or shit genitics in seeds ? Just can't work out why both our plants now look the same and have same problems.

Hey up lads, I have seen quite a few people on here use the eco technics fan controller and I am in desperate need of help. basically I have been using it with out any problems with a system air rvk. Working perfectly great piece of equipment. anyway got some cash so thought I would treat me and the ladies to a new silenced fan which has more power than the rvk and obviously is quite as hell. anyway did the set up on the fans and I though it was working perfectly, so here’s the problem it runs well on the min fan speed but when it changes to full power (80% in this case) and corrects the temps/humidity and switches back to min, the fan still runs at full power even tho it’s suppose to be on minimum. it’s driving me crazy as if I’m out one day and it does this and I’m not there to correct it, it could mess shit up. any help or insights are much appreciated. I also reset the controller back to default to see if this corrects but it hasn’t

Kindly asking for your advice and critique, Planning my first build. I live in a house share, I have a small bedroom. For space reasons I sleep in one of those kinda bunk beds that only have the top bed so you get floor space underneath etc. My rough Dimensions for growbox under the bed are 70cm / 2.29 ft length 66cm / 2.16 ft width 80cm / 2.6 ft height I plan to make a frame with wooden battens, plasterboard outside then fill with celotex insulation then plasterboard on the inside and paint white or mylar. I did this with heat and noise isolation in mind. My light will probably be a DIY samsung strip light of 100-130 watt. I will obviously need a carbon filter but seeing some inline fan videos they're bloody jet engines. PC fans and the like are widely used I've seen on micro grows but looking on this forum are regarded as no good. I was thinking of getting an AC Cloudline Infinity 6" so I can run on a lower RPM. again I dont know how loud this will be. And I assume I need to be circulating a certain CFM for the carbon to be effective. My top concerns are Noise and smell, but mostly noise. I work and sleep in this room so If it turns out irritating then it'll be a no go. Before I go any deeper into the project I wanted to know whether I'm being realistic. The annoying this is I won't know until I actually buy all the kit as I have no experience. cheers

I was wondering if somebody can tell me what's wrong with my plants, I am on week 10 super lemon haze auto GHS strain. Been feeding advanced nutrients under 2 x 600 watt, 8 x 12L fabric pots and one 15L autopot (just trying it out) Soil. Past few weeks they have been getting Bloom A and B 1.5ml per litre and last week switched from Big bud to Overdrive 1.5ml per litre aswell. So they're on: Cal-Mag 2.5ml per litre B-52 1.5ml per litre Bloom A n B 1.5ml per litre Overdrive 1.5ml per litre 3 fans plus extractor fan so plenty of airflow. 16/8 light cycle 55% humidity 30 degrees Celsius day temps The leaves at the top have turned yellow and crispy but the buds look and smell absolutely fine. I just want to know why leaves have turned yellow and crispy? Will the buds be fine after harvest? How do I avoid/fix this issue? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi, I planted 3 autoflowers, specifically ‘Quick One’ by Royal Queen Seeds on the 8th September so 2 months ago. However they have not got any buds at all as of yet, is this normal? The plants are not in the perfect environment however they do seem to be growing fairly decently. I can’t see any pistils either maybe the odd few but I think there should be a lot more at this age, can anyone help please??? Please see pics below

Hi all, I just popped 9 exodus cheese by GHS. just re-potted from 0.5 to 14L pots. currently my set up is just a floor fan & a 600w HPS bulb (running at the full 600). I have another 2 600's there if I need them, i also have an intake, out take & carbon filter etc. No tent; instead decided to black & white a full room to give them good space to grow stop any competing etc. however, i have a few questions & am looking for some help from someone with a bit more experience. Q1. After re-potting, do i feed them water or wait until they have taken all of the moisture from new surrounding soil? Q2. When is the ideal time to give my plants their first feed? (I'm using ionic grow & bloom) Q3. How do I know when is best to fim/top my plants? Q4. Any tips on smell reduction would also be majorly appreciated Thanks for reading, J
