  1. Day 20 12/12 Evening folks. Last week was crazy busy in work so I'm a bit later than id have liked with my update. Still been busy tending to my ladies though. My missus only went found my old camera tucked away in a holiday bag from about 2 years ago. I thought id lost it. Winner!! Its an old model but should still be well fit for better pics than my phone. Just need to figure out how to get out of auto Does the wee flower symbol on the dial mean you'll have more buds in your tent?? Picked up a tripod today also. I love the macro shots I see on here all the time so ill be practicing when the two girls sugar up. All 8 of the clones have rooted. How the fuck did that happen?? Well chuffed! Now i have to decide which ones I'm gonna keep. I put 3 in soil in very small pots. One of them will hopefully become a bonsai mum. Ill run with all 3 for as long as i can incase i mess one up. Westlands compost in the pots which were filled up after this pic then watered in Put 2 into net pots and clay pebbles and I started to feed them at an Ec 0.5 I couldn't bring myself to throw the rest out so i stuck them in small pots with pebbles. Ive also ordered another bubbler, and one more will go into the net pot when it arrives. I think i can fit 3 in that tent. Some are a bit miserable looking. This pic was taken sunday morning and this evening they all look a lot brighter Up into the loft now and the Gorilla is up up up and away. Sweet jesus she's relentless. I crushed out her stems almost every night. Had to leave them unattended for 2 nights and came back to find her right up to the bulb and her res almost empty. Round 5 litres a night she's drinking I burned the tips on a few by letting her get away from me But others are looking well Doesn't seem to like the feed anything over Ec1.0 as she was showing burning on the tips of the leaves. Candy is doing grand also. She's being fed at 1.0 and seems to be loving life. No dramas from her as of yet! I gave the gorilla a real good trim and removed around the bottom third. The tallest stems were super cropped away from the light. I also opened up Candy a bit stripping out some fan leaves. I made her a stool out of plant pots and a sheet of mdf to raise her up a foot higher. I forgot to take after pics as United were playing tonight and i was in a bit of a rush. Ill stick some up tomorrow. All the best and thanks for looking

For example, the grower who finishes the contest with more Sweet Seeds® points, may be the 5th place in the final classification. And the final winner of the contest may be the 3rd grower with the most Sweet Seeds® Points. To the grower who ends up with more Sweet Seeds® Points, no extra prize is attributed for that fact nor is it awarded a better final classification for it." And also this: Quote "3.1 - Each point (1 Point) is worth the value of 1,00€ (one euro) according to the parameters referred to in the sections 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 (see below); 3.2 - Contestants who finish the contest with 200 or more Sweet Seeds® Points can exchange them for products from the Sweet Seeds® webshop. This means that you can order all the products from the categories “Vaporizers”, “Tools and Accessories” (except for bambu tutors), “Measuring Instruments”, “Books”, “Paraphernalia” and “Lighting Equipment” (only CFL, HPS, MH and LEC bulbs). It is also possible to collect the products in one of the Sweet Seeds® shops, with no limits. Exchanging Sweet Seeds® Points for products from the web store is not available for non-European countries, to which the shippings are limited to Sweet Seeds® merchandising (t-shirts, grinders, hats, rolling paper, etc.); 3.3 - The period to exchange Sweet Seeds® Points for Sweet Seeds® seeds, Sweet Seeds® merchandising and products from the Sweet Seeds® web store is between the 12th and the 25th of June 2019;" In addition, every grower finishing with less than 200 Sweet Seeds® Points can exchange them for Sweet Seeds® seeds and/or Sweet Seeds® merchandising with free shipping included. Still, 3 months to finish the competition! Sweet smokes! jaypp

  7. Sweet Seeds - Crystal Candy F1 Day 16 12/12 Ok this girl just refuses to do any stretching what so ever. So I haven't defoliated her as yet but as can be seen in the pictures it will most certainly need to be done. If I was to grow this plant again for a scrog the veg time would have to be at least 8-10 weeks maybe more. It could well just be the leds as I get very little stretch with them but we live and learn. Feed levels and temps have not changed since last updates. Some fluffy bud shots to sort then I will post them also. Toke...

  8. Not sure if it counts, but I've started making sourdough bread. Took almost a fortnuight for my starter to look like I wanted it, think it may not be in a warm enough place, but I was well chuffed with my first loaf. I followed the below process for the starter.

  9. I put the seeds in some paper towels in a tuppawear tub and put them on top of my trusty old set top box on Saturday morning and left them alone for the weekend. When I checked them yesterday all had popped apart from the Remo Chemo. Luckily I popped 4 OGC so if the Remo doesn’t make it I still have 9. I have put them into some little pots with some PM compost and a small sprinkling of Mycorrmax and then back in the prop tent on top of the set top box. Well. I have to respect the breeder and may try them out if I get the opportunity now that you've said that. I've read a few threads where breeders say not to blame them for the prices of their beans on the tude. Not that I know anything about that before someone decides to bite my hand off. It seems a shame that they've been banned or discontinued because they only want to sell regs? This'll be the first year I do my own pollen chucking and doing a few F2 swaps with like minded folk (not through here obvs mods) as I'm tired of parting with money I don't have, plus beans seem more and more to have the same genetics crossed with the same genetics. Every fucking seed company has a gorilla glue cross or a cookies cross or a blue dream cross and they all claim to be the best shit. They fail to mention you need to hunt for the one you like and may never get it. I'm glad I joined this site in 2008 because all the old boys on here kept banging that info out there in different posts. Arnold Layne, Oldtimer1 and a few other well intention-ed folk.

  17. Thank you all for your support guys.I m a realist and death is a part of the game, but sometimes there s a tragic story behind, that makes it harder. First, the vape is an addiction,i want to smoke, even if i m high. The taste is unbelievable. One reason i bought it ,was to smoke less, but i don t get too high(yet) with this weed,so i won t use it a lot for now.Coughing is also another problem, but i know that my throat is not "trained" yet,or is the weed that isn t cured. The baloon is better and stronger. I liked the clear headed high it gives(or was the strain?). Now the smell and the taste,so far. Pine is very strong, then comes earth, with a sweet after taste. So is the smell,a pinie(very strong),earth/woody smell.Has nothing to be jealous about,my F1 previous grow, except potency. As it s usually happen in these situations,i've started to smoke already,so i will make a final smoke report after a month, before it s finished. This is what is left. Before....i started to smoke. Atb 2 all.

  21. Hello fellow growers, After a long think, I’ve decided to go for a selection of Dinafem seeds as my experiences of growing their cheese has been a good one. I find them easy to grow, they look great and the final product always lives up to expectations. I also like the fact they sell single seeds and the Annesia seed was free. Set up is: 1.2 x1.2 x 2.0 tent 5 RVK extraction on a Rhino filter 4 RVK intake on a low setting Omega HPS 600W adjustable ballast 1 x oscillating fan Coco mixed with pebbles & ecothrive charge. Canna A + B + Pk 13/14 With current temps, I will go with a 24hour light cycle until it warms up a tad. I will probably tie down the main cola on all the plants to get that even canopy. I will be posting new pictures frequently as the grow progresses. This is is my fifth grow so I’m beginning to get quite good at this yolk. As ever, any advice and input is most welcome. Peace.

  26. The law in this country is a complete farce. Supposedly medicinal cannabis is 'legalised' yet no one can get it, all other cannabis is illegal yet it's freely available in every town and city up and down the land if you look for it. The prime minister, her husband and various other ministers are all involved in the growth, production and sale of tonnes of cannabis every year even though we're all told it has no medicinal use and anyone else that grows it is arrested, prosecuted and often jailed. People of all ages are having their lives and futures ruined unfairly and needlessly countrywide. It's completely ridiculous and sounds like a bad joke we're waiting for the punch line of. Things HAVE to change, the only problem is I don't know how we can when we have a blatantly corrupt govt using any and all means they can to spread negative propaganda and flat out lies to the uninformed masses therefore skewing their opinion on the subject. People like us who use various sites like this all know different, however, thanks to the govt we're stereotyped as the typical irresponsible hippy stoner type so we're never listened to or taken seriously. Frustrated doesn't even begin to explain how I feel

  28. Top trumps that pal, need to start a similar thread myself, got a garden project and i'm so out of my depth. Very long garden that was lovingly cared for for about 15 years until the old guy passed away 3 years ago, so its been slightly neglected for a short time but nothing that a good summer tidying wont rectify. He really took care of his garden and has thought about what its future would be like after he passed away, so its my duty to do the old guy proud. luckily every plant, tree flower and shrub has labels on so that's a start and i have a separate are for veg growing in raised beds, first time growing fruit and veg since i was a nipper.

    Chicken manure, FBB, RGSC

Keep it simple... I grew some DFG last year (I did a diary) ... Absolutely stonking plants.... All I did was chuck a couple of bags horse manure.. (garden centre) and a few too many handfuls other additions... You can go over board and cause yourself more issues (which I did as the soil was too rich or the it was the ph... not sure...) either way I would just work in a bag or two of manure and couple of handfuls of chicken pellets... You can always add more stuff later... A few things to think of is a good start ... Root trainers and some root grow.. And some good protection.. Against slugs and rabbits... I am not saying that I got these perfect by any means..far from it... But still very happy with the result.... Goodluck!

    There will be green.

All three plants are now in their final pots, unfortunately i didn't have enough plastic pots so the sad & cm#2 are in 8ltr fabrics insulated with bubblewrap. Thanks to @jadenugs for that idea. The roots on all the plants were ready for a pot up but only got one pic as i almost dropped that plant whilst photographing. Just a bit more training. Not long now till flower now. Keep it green

  44. https://jerseyeveningpost.com/news/2019/02/18/guernsey-to-grow-medicinal-cannabis/ The move sees Guernsey step ahead of Jersey in efforts to harness the benefits of growing the highly lucrative crop, which Jersey Hemp science officer Chris Callaghan last year said could net the Island as much as £300 million a year. Celebrated Ltd has been granted a license to grow cannabis at the former Douit Vinery in Guernsey, making it the first firm to be allowed to do so since prohibition was introduced in the UK in 1921. The company intends to sell cannabis oils and health supplements at the ‘Original Alternative Guernsey’ shop in St Peter Port. Planting is expected to begin within the next few weeks in a state-of-the-art growing and processing facility. ‘Our fully equipped laboratory will mean we can grow and develop the finest oils, which will conform to any legislation in any country, allowing Guernsey to be a leading light and trend setter in the current cannabis evolution,’ said Celebrated’s managing director Tina Bolding. ‘This decision will not only benefit our customers, but it also means we can resurrect Guernsey’s proud growing tradition.’ Mrs Bolding began researching the benefits of cannabis oils and other cannabis-based products when her late husband was diagnosed with cancer and was regularly in unmanageable pain. She said that she hoped that a testing and research centre could be set up in Guernsey in memory of him. Celebrated has been working with UK-based Ben Birrell from the Greenstar consultancy, whose team of scientists and experts have more than ten years’ experience in the industry. ‘This is such an exciting opportunity and we are so proud to be part of a historic advancement for cannabis and hope that this will set a trend for the rest of the UK,’ said Mr Birrell. Bioeconomy consultant Lucy Hopwood, who worked on an alternative crops report for Jersey in 2015, said last year that the Island would be an ‘ideal’ place to grow medicinal cannabis due to its secure location and large number of redundant greenhouses. But she also warned there would be a number of challenges to face, such as policing issues, planning matters and the highly regulated market for the substance, as well as only a small number of doctors currently being able to prescribe the substance. Last year the States approved a proposition calling for Jersey to introduce laws allowing doctors to prescribe medicinal cannabis, which was lodged by Deputy Montfort Tadier – a long-term campaigner on the issue. Health Minister Richard Renouf is preparing an order to authorise the necessary changes to the law, which is due to be passed in the coming weeks.

  48. A quick update on a couple of the Sweet Seeds - Crystal Candy F1 clones I took a few weeks or so back. I do not think the Crystal Candy F1 mother that is in the scrog on the top shelf is going to do any stretching what so ever, if that is the case I will use the clones in the images below to try fill in some space, but the clones need another 14 days to get busy. That's the backup plan. There is another Crystal Candy F1 clone at the same stage as these ones that I have just potted up into a 8l fabric pot to be a future mother. If there is time in the competition I may flower out another batch, we will see. @Serpent cheers m8 I was a little shocked to see my diary even got placed lol, but I'll take it. Images below more updates later tonight or in the morning as lights don't come on until 11pm. Toke.
