    Paramotor or paraglide?

a mate of mine bought a second hand hang glider and with zero training or research , proceeded to set it up and run off a very high mountain.. with no idea what he was doing, he somehow managed to land it without getting fried by the nearby very high voltage overhead power lines, and without getting stuck up one of the many large fir trees .he actually managed to "fly" it for a good old distance, going up and down side to side (completely unintentionally of course) before crashing to the ground at at a guess 40 odd MPH and landing in a heap. We could hear his screams from at least a mile away. He broke his leg on landing, which was a shame, but ive honestly never laughed so much in my life, as much as I did when the loony took off, and his subsequent journey went rather tits up, I was lying on the deck, crying real tears of laughter So my advice is- don't do it witjout training.

Its not really about his debauched antics, they played that down. Its a real shame because that was who he was, he did some crazy stuff. I did a lot of reading about him. I think there was a debate on here years ago, Eddie Silence was involved, I think somebody said that Freddie harmed the gay community by never admitting he was gay, then Eddie pointed out he has a Mineshaft T-Shirt on in the Don't Stop Me Now video. For those that don't know, The Mineshaft was a gay club in New York (Meat Packing District). It was closed down by the NYPD during the mid-late 80's when HIV/AIDS hysteria was everywhere. The club was a very extreme sex club (Like the pipes from the urinals went into a room downstairs where guys could have a "Shower"). You weren't allowed in unless you had leather on, and no perfume/aftershave etc. Apparently, only one woman ever got in there, and Mick Jagger was refused entry once. Freddie was quite into his chemsex, I think coke and pills, and perhaps meth type stuff were the drugs of choice for him and he loved getting hammered on Vodka and Cristal Champagne. I say he needs to be celebrated, everything, nothing hidden, he was who he was, he didn't hide it. He worked really hard and played really hard, I think that's cool, personally.

    Paramotor or paraglide?

My uncle does both. Mostly paramotoring these days. it's funny i seen him the other day and thinking he would be enthusiastic i told him about a freefall parachute jump me and 2 friends are planning for the summer.. He was like "your mad, tell me when your going so I can come film in case you die!" Twat! I immediately came back with "yeah coz I'd be much safer jumping off the side of mountains with a huge spinning blade and a tank full of fuel strapped to my back aye!" my aunt went 3 shades whiter and snaps "ok you two! Enough talking about your silly boys games!" we just rolled out eyes I can't wait. Never been on a plane in my life and for my first go I'm throwing myself out of the fucker! Stupid is as stupid does!

  8. Hi, Just thought id get around to saying Hi Been on here again a couple of days now browsing around, catching up and how things have changed. So after a little break away from the scene I'm back again with the bug, 10 years older but with a little more grow space this time round, iv been in the house two years now and finally stumbled upon the loft for the very first time. Apex roof with a small height 150cm but a good length of over 4000cm and width of around 2500cm, I was thinking of keeping it simple and sectioning it off into two to form a flower and veg room. The veg room with T5's and the flower room with 1 or 2 air cooled 600hps ? Heat will definitely become a major problem in summer as the house is south facing and was getting readings of nearly 40 in the garden the last few weeks. before anyone suggests it I did have a couple strategically placed in the garden...… but the neighbour keeps popping her head over the fence to say hi and the bigger they got the more I worried she would look down and see them Anyway iv lost track of what i was actually writing so im heading off back to the grow room design section now for some more inspiration Catch you all around soon hopefully

Its not really related but I thought id post it anyway, a new playmate for the girls. They might appreciate abit of exotic company It was a couple of quid from a fella that runs a small local fruit n veg shop, he didnt know what type it was and (embarrassingly) neither do i but ive always fancied growing one so brought it anyway. If anyone else can school me on it id appreciate any knowledge.

  12. Smell the weed? Smell the bullshit. I just do not believe this story. This sounds like a gang out to steal the guys weed. a) The police would never raid a property without a warrant. It is illegal and the occupant can demand to see it. b) Why did they not arrest the guy? Confiscate his growing equipment. 15 Plants - surely that is more than personal? c) In these days of cutbacks do you honestly believe the Chief Constable of ANY force would sanction the use of armed and unarmed officers to raid a house for a suspected grower? Nah d) What happened to the plants? e) 6pm in the evening? I would have thought 6 in the morning would be the usual

  19. Why do you say that? 15 plants isn't loads, especially not if you're growing a mix of sativas and indicas and making oil from them. There's more to it than plant numbers alone, everyone's situation is different.

I have always fancied a go at paramotoring. 2 people have died within a couple miles of me.........and I don't live in a place that you see many of them has made me think twice. Looks wicked fun but not the least bit safe and that's coming from a superbike rider.

    Cumbrian Blue Dream CBD

These have such beautiful coloured leaves. The most beautiful foilage of any plant I have grown. Both are in 40l polythene tubs now little later than planned. Will be taking cutts to put in peat pucks with some rooting hormone, then put under some t5's in a couple weeks, will then run them indoors under led for extra yield, for making oil.

    Ancient Machining Technology?

He makes some good points, and for me it's always been obvious that ancient civilisations have had/used much more advanced machining/tooling technology than archiologists give them credit for. But some of his claims are utter bollocks, stopped watching the video above when his states the statues couldn't be polished to such a degree by hand, I've polished gemstones that would be harder than those statues to a better finish by hand, it just takes longer. This subject has always interested me, some things haven't changed in design for a long time, for example some roman padlocks are very similar to whats still available. India is especially interesting because parts of their surviving written history is up to 10,000 years old! My personal theory is that at some point in our distant history there were very advanced civilisations (with colonies on the moon/mars) which was wiped out by a cataclysmic war/natural distaster, their surviving decendents (after many centuries of nuclear winter etc) then helped found many of the more well known ancient civilisations. Plus if some of the origional advanced civilisations escaped into space, and contined to advance and flourish it would explain so many of our god myths and alien encounters. I've probably just read too much sci-fi and smoked a bit much though

    Paramotor or paraglide?

We get a fair few round here, the Cotswold escarpment is very popular with paragliders. I was offered a free introductory lesson by a guy I met, then I found out he'd bought a load of faulty shit and had a reputation for crashing, so I politely declined. Sometimes you'll see about twenty of them all catching the thermals together, they're so close they look like they might get their lines tangled. It looks fun, it must be an amazing sense of freedom, but too frightening for me, and I'm not averse to dangerous sports and activities. I have done an inadvertent bit of "paragliding" in the past, when my kite has got a bit out of control, usually involving me flying across the common like superman yelling "Fuuuuck"...... I have been offered a flight in a glider though, I'll definitely do that at some point.

  43. From what I've read it's actually more for the soil and the microbes that live in it than the plants themselves, they get the goodness given out by the microbes so treating them well is treating the plants well in a round about way. As for how much and how often, I'm going to experiment. A good starting dose seems to be a tablespoon full to a watering can (5-6L) in my case and depending on how hot the weather has been this will do 1 or sometimes 2 plants. I'm still researching how often to give it to them, I feed my usual nutes every other drink so as to help avoid any negative build up but this may be different, I'm still reading up.

    Guerilla grow

Well my ladies have been loving this weather in the North West of Cumbria. They are now well over 6ft tall, some over 7ft. I have not had them growing this well for quite a while. We are due rain all day tomorrow so that will give them a good drink of natural water. I find you cant beat rain water. Since I had the spider mite infestation on my indoor grow I gave these a good spray today just in case I had managed to transport any critters with me. The Spray and grow Spider mite killer that I was advised to get after talking to you fellow growers on here is now covering and hopefully protecting my ladies. One thing I do have to say about it, it smells like Cat piss lol. Any how here are a few images of my grow. You and yours and your ladies keep well. Best Regards Grampa!

    Lively Strain Wanted?

If you want lively do what the others have been saying and go for (insert name here) haze. Anything haze will be more lively and head high rather than a body load. Something else to consider is to go down the landrace route, things like Durban poison for example. African strains tend to be 100% sativa. Also don't forget Dr Grinspoon! Smoked some in the dam and I think it was the most head heavy dope I've ever smoked. I was literally skigh high, wonderful experience!

    Ancient Machining Technology?

the romans and the greeks were given lots of stuff they didnt make or invent by the victorians . its all about the euro-white dominance. kinda like all middle age pictures of jesus in europe he is whiter than white. like when any empire take over something ,its their scribes who dictate what was written down . so if the greeks say they invented something then they did in some peoples eyes . there was a well found in london they were saying it was roman ect but when they did some actual science work the well was 1st built in the 1centry bc . the roman were not here then so it was british , and british design ,bristish built . but they were insisting it was a roman idea then copied by the british . anything but pre roman . for fuck sake .
