      Is it a double or single controller your after mate?   I have a single sms for my veg tent cost around £40 and works fine.There`s an option to add a probe (£15) more. I dont bother with it in my veg tent but have a temp probe in my flower room.   I also have the 4.5amp double in my flower room that works well too.   Tenchie.

      Leave it if the weathers gonna be good. From the picture it looks like your in a garden rather then a plot. Can you not get any cover over from the rain.

      You can get a cheap one, Greens sell em for a tenner and yes they work fine at reducing the speed of the fan. The noise - not so much. They buzz at lower speeds. I've got both and while a Voltage stepper is smother and quieter, it was also £150 more expensive
