No big surprise here at all, I do some of my best most profound thinking when I'm lean.   I'm not a scientist in any capacity but I have a real interest in quantum physics, I don't pretend to understand it but I'm trying and my good friend Mary Jane really helps me a lot.   The double slit experiment for example has fascinated me for years but no one anywhere can explain what's happening and that REALLY gets my juices flowing. I love weird things, it's my Aquarius nature   Every now and then I think I've achieved a breakthrough but then I discover some new information and I'm back to square one again lol.

@unity cheers mate, I’ve started my grow and going all the way through with ‘Tropic Batmix’ that’s VERY loose, and pretty fine stuff, it just feels and looks dry all the time

I would cover the hydroton with disks of black and white poly or similar to prevent light and airflow getting to the upper roots. Try to keep the air temperature in the tote below 75F, ideally 68-72F
