Why do these articles get run 4 times a year? Variations on this article are in 4 local papers this week. It wasn't newsworthy last time and it isnt now. In a sane society these editors would be facing charges of wasting police time.

Rgsc have certainly contributed a great deal with regards to providing, and to an extent, pioneering a decent selection of reliable, early photos that are specifically bred for northern lats. Something that although was previously available,(Durban, passion, frisian, etc) was still largely in need of someone bringing these dated And unimpressive genetics into this century, (some companies ie, female seeds started to take it in the right direction, just not with enough strains) by introducing current strains, diversifying the situation, whilst selectively breeding for preferred traits. The whole auto/ semi-auto thing changed the game massively. Reducing flowering times quite dramatically. And nobody can argue with the results! Well.. Some people still find a way. Equally though it is just as important to recognise what other companies such as sweet seeds have done with their entourage of early strains. Some incredible genetics by all accounts. Just as important is the fact that these advances are happening separately from each other. Hugely broadening the traits expressed by these new strains, and how unique they are from each other. And sweet seeds are just one example. Exciting times
